RIP Michael...you were a weird one, but you churned out some great music.

Being a child of the 70s and 80s, his music had a huge impact on my life. The loss of a life is sad. To see children lose a parent hurts my heart. As an adult and a mother, I have never been able to get past the crimes he was accused of. 15 years ago, I would have wept; not today. May God be with his children though.
Same name and born in the same year. Hearing of Michaels death makes me feel vulnerable. He was, at his best a consumate, professional. He had energy and put it to use entertaining others. Now he'll be reunited with his other glove.
Ed MacMahon, Michael Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett...Each very different...All will be missed.
UNBELIEVABLE! I never thought I'd live to see this happen. The first to go in the Jackson clan and the most iconic. Off The Wall was the best album for me. RIP and thanks for all the great music.
It's better to burn out than to fade away...now he'll never grow old.
Same here, Robert. Again, the fire that scorched his hair and all the plastic surgery there after, his looks went steadly down hill. The man did have talent though, and boy could he dance! To the Jackson family, my deepest regrets! Blue Skies and Gentle Winds, dear Michael!
I'm in KC - I recall very clearly when this tour was here. I wanted to go SO BAD!! Of course, being 9 years old, my mom said no, but a local radio station played what they called a "concert echo" where they said they were playing the playlist from the concert, for those of us who were unable to attend. I don't remember now if it really was the playlist, but I loved the idea that MJ was in the same city as I was, and that was enough for me, at some point. Michael, I hope your deamons were left behind, and you can rest in peace. Your career was pivital for so many to follow behind you - you broke barriers, and introduced us all to the wonders music can hold. Your songs became reference points for moments in each person's life. Rest in peace, Michael.
He was talented, but a King? no. Worth the year's worth of 'news' coverage? no. Are the lamentations of 'celebrities' and average jo-jo's actually considered news? Tears? Candelight vigils? Are you kidding me? He was't the messiah. News organizations that would have referred to him at Wacko Jacko until 12:21pm yesterday are back to calling him the King of Pop. Dedicating 60% of new 'news' to him and every mad fan that feels devastated by his 'sudden dramatic death'. His cardiac arrest isn't any more dramatic than anyone elses. Okay, now for some nice words... Black or White, Scream, The Way You Make Me Feel, Thriller (of course), couple of others here and there. Smooth Criminal was a number in our show, so it has a permanent place in my iPod. I recently showed my children some of his videos as a form of pop culture education. My daughter asked if he was a man or a woman. I replied, 'Sort of'. They loved Thriller.
You can see many more of our pictures of Jackson here: http://bit.ly/pictures_of_michael_jackson
Thanks Krista, I was about to go crazy till I read your post... whew... Friends and I both agree that if he had died before he went psycho on his face, he would have been remembered better... kinda like James Dean is forever the hot rebel, jackson could have been remembered as the kid with the great voice and moves, but no, he went crazy...
Now we'll never know what happened to the missing glove! ;(
AP, All of my memorable peeps from the 70s are dying, indeed. I will morn for Farah more than MJ...
The true test of greatness is what one leaves to grow. By this test JESUS STANDS FIRST. And I fill MICHAEL IS SECOUND. He is an entertainer that will never be duplicated. Thanks for the years and MAN IN THE MIRROR.
I know we can all remember imitating moves such as moonwalk, and grabbing your crouches, but my favorite of all was doing the whole dance move to "Thriller" in which they did in the movie Thirty Something.I only speak for those who are truly sincere Michael Jackson Fans, regardless to what was said about him he was awesomly talented and will be greatly missed.AAAAAAAHHHHHHWWWWW!!!(michael's scream)R.I.P
Dear Michael, May all the angels surround you with their loving arms. Your legacy will live on. You will truly be missed !
When I heard he died I couldn't believe it! Why he died?? He was a great singer and I like him dances they're really good. Rest In Piece Micheal Jackson! We won't forget you!
Michael, a true musical and dance genious. I hope you finally find the peace you so desired and deserved. Thank you for sharing your talent and the wonderful music you blessed us with over the years. You will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to your children and family.
Michael. We've fooled them. I will see you in the Great Central Chamber of the mother ship tonight with Elvis and Lassie.
Michael was one of the best ,if not the best. When peolpe die we as humans always want to inject the bad times and mistakes of people. Can't we just let humans be humans and remember the good in peolpe. We are not perfect. Only Jesus was perfect. RIP Michael
I think he volunteered to take Farrah to heaven. He was always the gentleman.....
For all you wanna be judges out there. There is one judge, one decider and one KING...Guess who? All of us has faults and regrets.non of us are excluded. We all are human. weather you have done small wrong or big wrong..We all need to be forgivin if that is what we request.Mike the bottom line is we all had fun, we all have frowns. You contributed to all of us some fun and you will be remembered from that fun. R.I.P. away from the haters!!
I am incline to agree with Krista----however, he did change the face of dance and music-----
I'm torn. From a music standpoint, Michael Jackson introduced the world to a new genre that all us: race; ethnicity; or different languages could relate too. He gave us commonality and showed that we aren't that different at all. His personal life was exposed and analyzed as only a world super star's could. How do we remember him? As the greatest musical artist of the past half-century or as a man-boy with issues? Me, I choose to listen to his music and remember how it made me feel back in the day. His music is timeless.
I choose to remember the best in Michael Jackson. Those who wish to bottom feed on the darker more unacceptable parts of his life need to just be quiet during this time of grief. I pity those who find it necessary to be so childish. Rest in Peace Michael. You will always be awesome in my heart. Captain EO lives forever!
Michael's legacy will be...the most amazing, incredible talent and such a beautiful boy with the saddest of endings. If you are not old enough to remember The Jackson Five in the 70's then maybe you are not old enough to make a reasonable judgement on what Michael's real legacy will be. Michael, you gave us all a gift, for that you will be forever remembered with great love.
Woke up today and nothing felt right. Something was definitely missing from the world today. Unfortunately, it was one of the greats. Gone way too soon. Grew up listening to him, mimicked his moves, sang along with every song... Michael... you will be sorely missed... Your impact always felt, and your stamp on millions of people, never forgotten. Thank you for all you did. My condolences for the family and especially his kids... Love you Michael!!!
Michael Jackson, word cannot express how truely shocked everyone is that you are gone. Although your body phsically is not with us anymore your music will always be with us. You truely are a musical legend. I can remember when I was young my mom and dad would listen to michael jackson constantly and i would be dancing around the roomm trying to imitate his moonwalk.. lol and today while all the music was playing and every channel was remembering michael jackson and his music, i saw my two year old daughter dancing to billy jean and it brought back so many years and made me realize that your music will live on forever and so will your influences and attirubtes to the musical word. Your gone now may you rest in peace but you will never be forgotten, my heart goes out to your family and friends you are in my prayers! R.I.P
Despite Michael's setbacks in the past few decades with the allegations, he was the greatest performer in the world and paved the way for the performers of today, for instance, Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Neyo, and the list goes on. Without Michael there would be no them. This is a huge blow to the entertainment world as well as the WORLD in general. RIP Michael...We love you..
To his children: Your father was a wonderful being. Be strong and stand proud, and know we are all with you.
Michael was a complicated indivdual. His talent was beyond repoach and his heart was always in the right place. I would have been proud to have known him personally. May he rest in peace and may the world remember the memorable contributions he made to the music world. We'll miss him immensly. JTB48
Hwas the best and most adored entertainer in the world. Regardless of the haters, his music, his talent, his being touched us all. You wouldn't talk about him, like him or not, if he didn't. He is free now..we had him from the age of nine and wouldn't let him go...There was no other way..RIP We love you Michael!!!
what a loss
I grew up listening to this Man. Rest with the Angels Michael, you've earned your wings. To The ENTIRE Jackson Family, may you find peace in what a wonderful person God has brought unto us all across the world. RIP!
Michael, thank you for the memories and the music. Like a never-ending reel-to-reel, your songs play over and over in my mind today and I thank God I was alive in the world to receive your wonderful legacy. Much love to you, your family and your beautiful children. May you forever rest in eternal peace.
Michael Jackson was a brilliant musician and entertainer. Although he had numerouse problems. Lets not forget the impact his music had on the world. Elvis the King of Rock and Roll and Michael the King of Pop are now united What a concert that will be.
You will truly be missed Micheal....you are truly the brightest star.....you will always shine the brightest in death as you did in life..... R.I.P. Micheal.....May you shine as bright in heaven as you did on earth....
As an American I'm so ashame of the way we treated Michael after he gave us so much love and so much of himself. There is only one word to discribe someone like Michael - Love. And I for one just want to say to the Jackson Family members onbehaft of my family and all others in agreement with me - "We're sorry, we still love you, and we'll all miss this precious gift from God - Rest in everloving peace Dear Michael - and forgive us as you walk with God in your heavenly Neverland amoung the children of Heaven known as Angels. I miss you so Much, and am proud to have lived in your lifetime, and see the unmatched performances of this King of Pop and Angel of Love.
Krista - Good. Editors - Where's a picture of Farrah Fawcett?
I am in great sorrow for the loss of Michael. He was a true legend with the music and life that he led. He had great talent that not another single person will ever have. He was such a great performer and he will be missed dearly by millions. My heart goes out to entire Jackson family, and mostly to his three children; Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket. They did not deserve to lose such a great father at such a young age. I hope and pray that the children will be able to remain together with the Jackson family. God Bless the Jacksons and the children. R.I.P. Michael!!!! YOU WILL BE MISSED.
He was a "KING" and worthy of all the news coverage - he was that BIG - a real SUPERSTAR...we can't judge him for being "weird" none of us here have lived his life. His talent and music will live on forever. I wish he had taken a better path and not reduced himself to the "ghost like" figure he had become, but the mind and soul were all in tact...his MOONWALK begins.....
Today is a very sad day for me due to the passing of Michael Jackson..I still cannot believe it. I was 13 when I first saw the Jackson 5 in concert in Hampton, VA and it was phenomenal. I have been attending concerts ever since and I will be 50 this year! I have MJ cds, I had the posters on my wall as a little girl...Michael RIP you are and will always be the wind beneath my wings..sweet angel. btw, haters, please keep your negative comments to yourself...we are grieving here! I will miss you MJ! -peace
It is a sad thing when someone goes before their time, be it a famous person or not. That being said, other less famous musicians who died before their time should be given half of the kudos that Jackson got. I'm talking about Steve Marriott, Paul Kossoff and Rory Gallagher. Now today, we learn of the loss of another great musician...Sky Saxon! wonders if Paul McCartney is now gonna buy those Beatles songs back...
God sure knew what he was doing when he made you, Michael. You balanced your life in a way that no one could have ever imagined. You are a blessing in disguise to many of us. I am very proud to have grown up listening to the music that you have done. I pray, Michael, that you will forgive all those who have treated you in the manner that they have. You will always be my Idol. To the entire Jackson family, you did well with Michael. My heart goes out to you all with great, deep sympathy. I am sorry that his time has come so soon and suddenly. However, God has come to believe that Michael needed to come HOME. He is at rest as he should be now. To Michaels parents, you have done a fine job in raising your baby. He brought a lot of love to many people in his music and his everyday living. From "ABC..." all the way to "Thriller" and many others, Michael knew what he was doing, and he did it well. All from you both. May God be with you, and the entire Family in this hard time of need. I love you all. God Bless.
Our King of Pop has been taken from us much too soon. Thank you Michael for being one or our true pioneers that has forever changed the way the world sees music. Thank you for the rich and everlasting legacy you have left behind for all of us to carry on and enjoy. You are forever etched in our hearts & souls through the melodies that you've given us with that golden voice so recognized by all. Now you are with the angels where you can see just how much you will truly be missed. My prayers and thoughts go out to his children, his loved ones and the many fans that will always cherish him as I do. R.I.P. Michael.
I did not know this kind of pain existed. I will feel this forever. debi
His dream to become Peter Pan has been achieved. He never knew what being old feels like.
I have not stopped crying. I feel as if I have lost my best friend. I have been a fan through the good times and the bad times and I cant explain my sorrow. I still can't believe it's true. Michael was a human being with tremendous talent, passion and soul. His music touched me in my saddest moments and helped me get through the worst days. I cannot beleive I have to say goodbye. I pray now that he can truly rest in peace. Without people worrying about his surgeries or oddities. None of that matters in the scheme of life. How he looks.. irrelevant... what he was accused of ( and acquitted by the way) history.. lets remember why he mattered in the first place. The history he made and the path he forged.
Thank you for being a part of my upbringing... Being 27 years old, I remember watching you on TV during my younger years and dressing up like you. I remember trying to emulate your dance moves, the moonwalk obviously took a little longer then others. All were great memories... thank you so much...
A loss of a tremendous talent, certainly. His God given gift will live on in his music forever. However, lest any of us forget the horrific crimes this MAN was accused of by those innocent children. My feeling is that his life here on earth needs to be kept in perspective. I cannot weep for him now.
Michael, with the genius and the soft heart in you, you were ahead of your generation and out of this world! May you find peace and soar high wherever you are!!! You are immortal across the worlds and will always be remembered with love!
I have to say, some of these responses are odd and very cold. I grew up listening to The Jackson 5, before they were the Jacksons, before Michael was a solo and before Jermaine married Hazel Gordy. YES, Michael had problems, do I think he was guilty of child molestation? YES. That kind of issue is a mental sickness. Michael was someones son, Father, brother, nephew,cousin...and so on. Show some respect for the departed and his family. Condolenses to the Jackson Family, and RIP Michael Jackson...
There is a voiced silenced in the world today, a few voices this past week. Michael, I think yours was the loudest voice. You brought something to music that we'll never hear from another person ever again. Your passion and zeal will forever be remembered in your music. Watch over your children as you always have. You will be missed
When you hear the outpouring of respect and gratitude from other platinum selling artists of the 90's and 2000's for Michael Jackson, it just goes to show you the impact that he had on the music world and how he changed the way that some of our new favorite artists were inspired by his effort to bring something different to the table.
Michael Jackson was an American original. The gossip about his private life won't mean much to listeners in 2050, who will still be coming back to the best-selling album of all time.
i cannot find the words to describe the sadness i feel today. I dont know a world without Michael Jackson, he and his brothers defined my childhood. We can search the ends of the earth, but there will never ever be another like him, EVER! God broke the mold.
Michael Jackson was one of the greats...a misunderstood, complex talent who's ablilities will never be duplicated. Most of today's music stars will eventually fade into the shadows, but Michael was and always will be a legend. No matter what your music preference, everyone knew who Michael was. And while some will decide to focus on his weaknesses and faults, I am focusing on his amazing strengths. He was an easy target to judge...always in the spotlight. But we each have our faults, our quirks, our differences. Michael was not afraid of who he was, and he allowed his differences to be viewed openly. To me, he was an unsung hero, honest in how he lived and living his moments to their very fullest. He may have worn a physical mask at times, but how many of us who judged him for it wear invisible masks ourselves. Rest in peace, Michael. You're amazing talent and God-given blessings to this world will be greatly missed...but you'll live on in our hearts and in history for all time! God Bless!
...for us Gen-X'ers, MJ was a fundamental part of the social fabric of (but certainly not limited to) our black culture. How many of us ain't want to dance like Mike? Sing like Mike? Who wanted a Jheri Curl before Mike made it a phenomenon? Simply stated, MJ is a microcosm of all the elements that virtually comprised our youth...and this is why, world wide we mourn in solidarity, we feel as though we've lost a piece of ourselves. Because we did.
Great Musician, great talent, who brought joy to millions of lemmmings. Perspective please! Too much coverage by the media. That said, why is there no news of the Michael Jackson Foundation for The Prevention of Child Abuse or of the millions he gave away, or business he started whose profits went to charity like Paul Newman's. That's right folks, there are none. In spite of his awesome talent Mr. Jackson will always be fixed in my mind as a self loathing narcissist. That does not make me a hater just an observer.
The man has sold 750 MILLION records to date...I think that says it right there. Oddities aside, he changed the landscape and definition of music and the music video and for that I solute him.
I remember We Are the World..I was only 18 or 19 at the time and I felt that I wanted to be apart of history, so me and my friends went down to Washington DC so that we could take place in that historical event. We gathered hands and together we were one voice..together we were the world. He had a very unique talent that nobody will ever duplicate...He will be missed but he is in heaven now singing and dancing for all those who have left us...His music and dance was always ahead of its time. Michael Jackson will always and forever be the "The King of Pop"..May God be with your family and friends in this time of sorrow. You will truly be missed.
I've watched him since I was a child and it's heartbreaking to know his kids will grow up without him. Rest In Peace Michael Jackson and God Bless You and Your Family Always.
Isn't it strange how the hugest stars seem to never have meant to grow old? As though the world was never destined to see an old version of Elvis or Lennon or now Jackson? He was so wierd, but yet so talented. Even though I totally disagreed with his way of life and his belief of sleeping with children that were not his own, I truly felt that this was just a gentle boy locked inside a grown man's body and truly meant no harm to anyone, but yet was severely taken advantage of. May he finally have the peace he searched for in this world but could never obtain. God bless his children and all of his family and friends.
I grew up listening to Michael and watching his videos...I respected him and admired him as an incredible musical artist and a breathtaking performer...but I loved him as a human being and humanitarian. His contribution...his presence in our lives ...in every way...raised us up. He brought us closer to our own humanity...through his generosity, his music, and his spirit. He truly changed the way we all view the world...and in that spirit we should all continue that legacy by trying to overcome the boundaries of politics, race and religion and come together as a human beings...and protect the future of our children. We should all try to make our world a better place.
RIP Michael you will be missed.
My wife and I grew up listening to many artists, one being Michael Jackson. I remember days when I would imitate (or try...lol) his moonwalk and some of his dance moves, listen to his music in Levittown Roller Skating Rink, and of course the Thriller video! Michael touched the hearts of many around the world. He is very unique in his dance and singing abilities; I have seen many impressive impersonators but none will ever match his talent. Yes there were issues that arose regarding his personality, and whether or not some of these things occurred, we as humans need to remember to try to forgive each other. Unfortunately, many of us harbor negative feelings, even hatred, which is one of many reasons why there is so much violence in the world. Michael's music provided peace amongst all the chaos, even if it was for only a few minutes. My wife and I enjoy his music so much we started to watch videos again on YouTube and even our children got into it, imitating the moonwalk, etc. RIP Michael, you will truly be missed. Lastly, THANK YOU.
I've written a 'life story' of Michael Jackson... created with titles from his songs. Here it is... hope you like it! Your family and earliest fans know that at the age of 8, after learning your 'ABC's, you 'Wanted To Be Starting Somethin', telling your abusive father to 'Leave Me Alone'. You 'Blame(d) It On The Boogie', and we watched your talented dance steps as you proceeded to 'Shake Your Body Down To The Ground'. You informed us during your climb to fame that 'Dirty Diana' was 'Dangerous', and anything but a 'Pretty Young Thing'. 'Billy Jean' was also terribly 'Bad', with her motives 'In The Closet' and brain bouncing 'Off The Wall' when she tried to frame you... silly bitch! You may have told her at one point that 'I Cant Stop Loving You', but it wasn't long before you realized that she was one 'Smooth Criminal', so you told her to 'Beat It', telling all of us later, 'She's Out Of My Life', wise decision my friend. We all 'Rememeber The Time' when that very long song 'Thriller' played for hours at every Halloween party, but you told us, HEY, 'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough'. In your introspective years, you gazed at the 'Man In The Mirror', realizing then that 'You Are Not Alone', and neither 'Black or White', but a colorless soldier of fortune and good 'Human Nature' on a mission to 'Heal The World'... a skeptical world that for the most part, didn't believe in you... how sad! We all realize now that you're 'Gone Too Soon', and you've left millions of us singing 'I Want You Back'. Godspeed to you Michael Jackson, and say a prayer for the billions of lost souls you've left behind. For yours can now be found in the kingdom of Heaven.
This is a truly sad day. I am deeply saddened and heart broken by MJ's death. I grew up with him. Gone, but not forgotton. RIP. Forever in my heart!
Michael was the first star I ever really fell for back in the day. I hope that the emotional pain that was apparent everytime Michael was interviewed has finally been eased. My close friends will always remember me doing the "Beat It" dance whenever we partied. RIP Michael and I know you have finally gone home.
i dont understand how people can be so heartless and cold in a time when so many are sincerely greiving the loss of an amazingly talented person. Your little jokes are not funny to us and they wouldnt be funny to his children. Michael, you were not made of your mistakes. you were made of something more amazing than any one will ever understand. Your music speaks for itself. There will never be anyone like you! RIP
The world was blessed to have you share your creativity, music, and love. You are and always will be the King of Pop. May you rest in peace and you will be forever missed. May God be with your family, friends and fans all around the world.
My tribute to Michael Jackson: i have read and listen so many declarations,so i am overwhelmed. Who was Michael Jackson? I was to 2 concerts he held in Romania in 1992 and in 1996. What a diference between the two!i realised now.The second one showed a Michael over tired, not singing live to one tunes(at least this was my perception), a Michael who i felt he was in a deep suffering.I didn't liked it as the first one.but very happy to see him again. As millions would speak right now about who he was, nobody knows. All his life he was in a seek for love. The biggest mistake and in the same time the saddest truth, he was unable to love himself. This was his real death. He was loved by millions, by real friends, family, i have seen women who was willing to die for him, so he was loved and there were persons who did it for real, but he never found a way for loving himself. Michael was in a huge run time after time, trying to escalade the past victory of what he did and fear not to able to do something better than the last time. This kind of attitude is healed only by God.It surprise me because he believed in God very deeply. i have read his poems and God is in all of it. He lost the battle with himself many years ago and i hoped for him to find the Right way. I suspect he didn't have his children, he would be dead long ago.He pressured too much, but not into work, by in his mind. From this painful balance we had the most beautiful and simple soul of this world. The price was huge, but neccessary and he knew that.I think he had incredible solitaire moments, but i have seen him playing, laughing, full of joy. We will never know who Michael Jackson was,but in this final, who was perfect for him(little suffering)where he is, realised from all the pain, he knows how much loved was and how much God loved him. He was an angel of music. My tribute to him is a gesture i didn't made it when he was in my country. I had the huge joy to be near him and as he walking by, very scared, i sudden lost my desire to touch him, because i have seen a man who was terrifed by crowd and in the same time he was trying to protect a kid with his hands, because EVERYBODY WAS TRYING TO TOUCH HIM AND MADE PHISICAL CONTACT WITH HIM.it was seconds and it was a dream come true to meet him. But i loved him in that moments more than before and after, because i was thinking about him, not me. All be glad, because Michael Jackson is happy know and he is where he belonged all the time:to the Holy Father in heaven. His terestrial ride is gone and let us with souls enchanted and for some of us changed forever. God bless your soul!
Whenever I hear a Michael Jackson song, I always smile. Always. I hope Michael finds peace.
Amazingly talented singer, dancer and song writer for years and years. I think that deserves some accolades. His music was the soundtrack of my life. I still have my Thriller album and 4 or 5 of his CD's. I didn't know him personally so I won't comment on his personal life. Just want to send my symapathy to his kids and the Jackson family. Michael, you will be missed :(
When Michael experienced his hard times in his adult life, I always felt sorry for him. We fans took alot from Michael Jackson. Yet he gave us so much. For me, I will remember the little innocent boy who sang ABC. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson.
Wow! Still in shock,BEST ENTERTAINER EVER!! RIP THRILLER! May God bless your Soul!!
Our friends at SlateV.com have a very cool video montage of YouTube moonwalk tributes. Worth checking out: bit.ly/w9Wi7
My heart is broken... Michael, you touched so many lives.... I will never forget the music and the humanitarian side of you. What I will miss most is that you never gave up when times were rough. You were a trend setter, you had YOUR OWN, your own style of clothes, dance and music. YOU ARE A TRUE LENGEND. My thoughts, prayers go out to the Jackson family. GOD is with you all. There never be another like you...
♥michael has touched so maney peoples hearts and inspired alot of people he was truley a gift to the wrold from god and its such a tragedey and shock to the wrold that he is gone but he is in a more better place now and not completley gone bc he will live on in peoples hearts, memories and by his music and videos forever god be with u michael, friends, and famley rip michael!!♥
It is a great loss to the entire music world. Maybe Michael Jackson is the only name almost all the people in the world can remember easily, becuase he was in such fame and glory. Dont walk like Michael Jackson was the comment that we used to make on our school singers and dancers. No one can replace or fill his vacuum. Legends are born but no death for them. He will live on and on till music ends. Prem Nizar Hameed
You know that old saying "if you can't something nice..." and unless you knew him personally or was connected to the events in his life yourself... I wouldn't be so quick to pass judgment on him or his life. Much of what the public knew of Michael is what was printed or broadcast about him by the press. Michael's life was by no means perfect, as it is with the rest of us. What Michael left us was good, and it outweighed the bad. So before you leave negative comments about Michael...be your own "Man in the Mirror". Can you look in that mirror and find no fault in your own life? Give him the peace we all deserve.
♥michael has touched so maney peoples hearts and was truley a gift to the wrold from god and its such a tragedey and shock to the wrold that he is gone but he is in a more better place now and not completley gone bc he will live on in peoples hearts, memories and by his music and videos forever god be with u michael, famley and friends rip michael♥
My prayers truly goes out to the Jackson family. Michael was such a wonderful entertainer & will truly be missed. It's such a shock & very difficult for me to believe. My kids & I will miss him dearly & will continue to listen to all of his music that we have collected. I recorded the 30 yr anniversary that he had awhile back & will continue to look at the great memories of him. Michael rest in peace.
I am shocked and relieved. I heard Micheal Jackson was dead, said "WHAT?!" and then I felt instant relief. It is over. The story of the boy who never grew up and never had a normal life and went through the public meat grinder is done. It makes me very sad and I have been blasting Billie Jean all day.
Michael you were the greatest entertainer of my time. I feel blessed to have known such an ICON. I have been a MJ fan since junior high school. I have defended Michael in NC for several years with pride. I have been devoted to him and what he stood for many years. I'm deeply devasted and saddened by his death. Rest in peace Michael and I love you.
I liked his music until it came to light that he was a child molester. The case was never closed. It was left that way in case the two children that were paid off ever decided to come forward again. That's on record. It's not a matter of being there or not. Also, he really must have hated himself to go from black to white. The skin problem was one thing, but the nose and hair change wasen't about some condition he was suffering.May he rest in peace but I don't believe he's in heaven.
The true test of greatness is what one leaves to grow. By this test JESUS STANDS FIRST. I feel MICHEAL IS SECOND. He is an entertainer that will never be duplicated or forgotten. Thanks MICHEAL for your music and THE MAN IN THE MIRROR, we are all blessed, having you in our lives.
All pedophiles' deaths should be celebrated with such vigor....
Every once in awhile, a special person enters our lives and changes its landscape. Michael Jackson was one of those people to millions. His incredible talent, drive, generosity, and persuit of excellence was not only his gift, but also his demise. In the future, I hope that his talent and musical achievement will outshine all the tabloid gossip that over-shadowed his career in recent years. Despite what the public might think of him personally, no one will ever know what it was like to be Michael Jackson. If put in the same circumstances...how would we be perceived? I personally will remember the music...and how he made a 7 year old girl scared out of her mind when Thriller came on!! Thank you Michael for all of your contributions.
God bless & comfort family, friends & fans of Michael Jackson. "It's a fine line between genius and madness." - no one can deny MJ had a foot firmly on each side of that line. I only hope people will keep in mind his 'oddness' does not in any way take away from not only his musical genius but his acheivements in crossing & breaking down racial barriers & promoting racial harmony. His music is a huge part of my life.
I have been listening to Michael Jackson ever since I can remember (I was born just before Thriller was released), and can never listen to his songs too many times. Any time a dance floor is empty, all you have to do was put on an MJ song and it would be full. He always put a smile on my face, and even though I am crying today while listening to his music, I am smiling as well. God bless you, Michael.
Even though the phenomenon known as Michael Jackson is dead, he will not die. I will share him with my kids and they will want to share him with their kids, and so on. Long live the King of Pop!
I was watching the news when Spike Lee was talking about when Michael Jackson was in Brazil and that he really loved the country. I am brazilian, and I was talking to mom that said that people cannot stop crying over there. All my family are fans of him. I grown up listening to my sister albuns and one of the first songs I learnt to sing in English was Man in the Mirror, that for me is the best of all. I was crying when I called Brazil because my nephew that is just 4 year-old told me that he was praying for Michael Jackson today, just because of sharing the sadness of my mom, sister and niece. So I just want to say that just like Spike Lee said that Michael loved Brazil, Brazil loved Michael and will remember him for ever.
"There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportions." Francis Bacon RIP, Moonwalker
My fondest memories are of Michael with the Jackson 5, or performing with Diana Ross - he was so sharp, so talented and so precocious! You just new he was going to be great - but not HOW great. I could listen to all his songs, and the songs that have sampled his music, for weeks without repeating them... Watching that old footage - he was all those things, and yet so human. Prayers to the family.
why him? There are so many others out there that needed to go...but not him!!! He has been a life long love not only because he was what he was but his music....My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends......... You will be forever misssed... A part of me is gone as well...rip Michael.. finally.....xoxoxoxoxoxox
I was shocked yesterday when I heard that Micheal Jackson was dead. I love the song Beat it and he was a very good singer of all times. My prayers goes out to the family and especially his kids. May God Bless his family and his kids and give them strength to be strong over his death. Rest in Peace and you will be missed but never forget.
We love you Michael!
my first cassett was the Jasckson five...my mom thought it was the osmands that I was crazy over..so she returned the osmands and bought the Jackson 5.....god I was on top of the world.......sooooooooooooooo happy..... now I am sooooooooo sad.....finally Michael rest in peace..........forever in my thoughts and prayers......xoxoxoxox love to your family and close friends....
I'm still in shock, I feel like I've lost an old friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his mother and children. I just don't understand why MSNBC has chosen to go so negative on this coverage. When I turn to MSNBC, someone is talking about the allegations, plastic surgery and bazaar behavior, so again, I turn the channel, even FOX news is kinder than MSNBC. I won't forget.
to Michaels Family, I grew up listening to the Jackson five and then to solo artist Michael, i will remember him for the good he did in music indusrty and for the world as whole there has been other artist who brought us joy of tears, but never unity like Michael did from different part of the world he was cheered loved and worship as the best entertainer ever. for me he will the voice of my generation we will aways ve his presence in our lives R.I.P
This man was a child rapist. End of story. He drugged and raped children for years and years. You people gushing your tributes to him are pathetic idiots.
6-26-09 SORROW FROM COLORADO! MICHAEL R.I.P. WE ARE THE SAME AGE, WHILE MANY LOVE YOUR MUSIC AND PRESENCE, BLACK AMERICA UNDERSTANDS YOUR STRUGGLE, TO FIT INOT A WORLD THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTING OF PEOPLE OF COLOR THEN....WE CHEERED YOU ON NOT KNOWING THE LENGTH THAT YOU WOULD TAKE YOURSELF TO PHYSICALLY MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE THOSE WHO WERE NOT ACCEPTING....GOD BLESS YOUR SPIRIT, AND THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE.....AND THE WORLD! PEOPLE ARE MUCH MORE ACCEPTING OF EACH OTHER BECAUSE OF YOU!! CENYTHIA GREEN,RYHEIM SCOTT, STEPHANIE KELLY
What saddens me is that people fail to realize that, like many Americans, Jackson's accomplishments must be viewed thru a lens of realizing that he arose on the shoulders of enslaved ancestors. Up until the mid 1990s, ask anyone the question, who was the richest Afro.Amer. family in America? And, they would have responded "The Jacksons." In fact, many sociologists argue that prior to the mid 1990s there was no black-Amer. person or family who rivaled the Gettys, Vanderbilts, Morgans...except for the Jacksons. Now we have Oprah and a generation of Hip Hop musicians who made money promoting negative behavior, but Jackson to his credit sang about LOVE and PEACE. As Americans we see Michael as a mega Icon, b/c he represents what those who are descended from slavery can accomplish...this is something that no matter how hard he tries, our beloved President Obama will never represent. God bless you Michael, all Afro-Americans understand your tribulations, and we shall continue to celebrate your accomplishments.
It will be a long time, if ever, before the world sees his likes again. He was a unique performer in every sense of the word.
I was fortunate in the 1980's to have an Annual Pass to Disneyland. I spent all of my spare time there. Micheal would visit the park a LOT. When he was there, news would reach the crowd near the Videopolis Stage, and people would go looking for him. He wore the worst disguises, but it didnt matter. I hope a lot of you fans got to experience Michael in Captain Eo. He was incredible. God Bless you Michael.
It's my birthday today but I can't be happy because my childhood idol has died. His album was the first I ever bought. I knew the words to every song and watched every video countless times. I loved his Moonwalker movie and emulated his dance moves. I still can't bring myself to totally believe the rumours and scandals. What I can't believe the most is that Michael is gone. I'll remember Michael like this forever. He was more than an icon. He was and always will be a legend to me. His music will live on forever. Good night Michael. I hope you have found peace at last.
i was the MJ impersonator of my neighborhood when growing up as a young teen (14) in the 80's. i had all the neighborhood kids be my back-up dancers. Thanks to MTV as our MJ choreography source we put on flawless performances of beat it and thriller. i had the thriller jacket and my next door neighbors's mom bought him the "beat it " jacket. what more could i have asked for . My childhood was magical thanks to Michael. Only wished they had digital cameras back then. RIP MJ
So sad.....I am crying listening to his music. I wish the whole world would accept and realize, he never hurt a child. He was way too sweet, and innocent - after all he suffered at the hands of his father. And of course he was an incredible dancer and artist and musician....I don't think anyone will ever come close to his talent. No matter what. Read the lyrics to "Childhood". I wish he could have felt more loved and accepted as he is - or was. Michael, I will miss you. I was hoping to see you on tour...rest in peace.
I was just starting high school in 1978. I remember going to my first high schoold dance that fall and thinking there was absolutely no way I'd actually ask a girl to dance, but then this song came over the speakers, and I found myself on the dance floor with hundreds of other kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM3hgLRq8_0
May you always be remembered in our hearts so dear, As the kind and loving person you were, when you were here. May you never be forgotten, with your name always on our tongues, As we dance and rejoice as we sing your songs. As time goes by may we tell our children too, that there lived a man, a man as great and as talented as you. Michael you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I love you.
It is sad to see such a wonderful person move on. It is beautiful to see how you moved and united, people and cultures. We are not alone Your spirits here to stay You brightened up the world In such a special way No boundaries! Rest in peace Michael.
The "last photo" released by ET Online is in such poor taste. Its incredible what networks will do for ratings!
I am so sick Of seeing and hearing on news reports and websites about Michael Jacksons being accused of being a sex offender, But does anyone mention that fact that these people who accused him of these vicious acts can and did put a price on there own child, How can any real Parent put a Price on there own child, and as for his behavior, Maybe just maybe if most of the people in the world had a mind like Michael a loveable, caring, thoughtful, and as compassionate as he was this world would be a better place... The world lost a great artist all in general a great Person that can never be replaced! Rest In Peace Michael Jackson! You Will Forever be Missed In the heart Of Many!
Thank you Michael for blessing the world with the most beautiful music...You taught me what music is at 3 years old. I hope you are singing and dancing in heaven right now....You have blessed this earth now its time to go home and be that angel that you are...GOD BLESS YOU...I miss you ....
my heart goes out to the family'mourning his death;it is a tragedy that the world lost a icon like him,he was the best moonwalker i ever seen growning up.Micheal we will miss you dearly,i will remember the love an spirt you bring into this world for years to come, may you rest in peace.MJ
I am extremely sad at this tremendous loss. A month ago, my husband, who was one of Michael's greatest fans, passed away. I can only hope they are in a better place. Rest in peace, both of you.
He was a drug addict and pedophile who happened to be able to sing and dance. If he didn't have money, he'd be in jail. God help those poor children he abused.
I can remember as a little girl growing up and I was so in love with Michael and his music. It is so very hard to believe that he is gone. I know that he will be missed by everyone that knew him. My love and Preyers go out to the Family. You all will be in my preyers. With Lots Of Love Always. I Will Never Forget Michael, He will always be in my thoughts.Love You all.
I am not an American and grew up in a different country. I first heard Micheal when I was a teen and did not know any English. I remember when I first heard thriller, I loved it, and the rest. He was such a great talent, someone who comes so rare. My dad and I used to talk about his gift time to time. Maybe Micheal is singing for him now. It was thrill to listen to you Micheal, I really wish you could have BEAT IT! You will be missed.
"Michael Jackson" ...let's remember....that "Michael Jackson" was a true humanitarian, environmentalist...and most of all peace maker...For example, "We are the World" - "USA for Africa" Michael, in my opinion, was a loving soul....an Icon of the 20th and 21st century! Who will live, on for all eternity! God Bless, you Michael, and ALL you stood for...My heart is heavy. My thoughts and prayers are with your children and family. R.I.P. Michael. God love you.
Whether you liked him or not, he was and will always be a Legend. His troubled youth (father) and clear health conditions is not an excuse about what occured later in his life, but an explanation. For me, he will be rememeberd as a man who brought millions of people memoriable and outstanding music. My thoughts are with his family... RIP MJ
One mark of a good day was NOT having Michael Jackson imping upon my conciousness. Can I go back to having good days...soon?
Why can't people understand that some of us grew up with his music and his dancing and that we mourn that man. We mourn the man that inspired us and that is the man we want to remember. I cried, not because I thought he was a messiah, but because in my life he touched me. I cried when Michael Landon died and when John Ritter died too. They also touched me. Why is that wrong?
May you find in death what you searched for in life - the Peace of God. We love you Michael. Thank you for blessing us with your gift. Yours is a story that will stand the test of time. Now, rest my brother. Rest.
I believe that every on of us lost a small piece of our souls when Michael died. Let us all just remember the joy he brought us and pass that on. I hope for nothing but happiness and love for his children and those closest to him. Good-bye Michael. Thank you so very much.
I was so sadden to hear of the death of Michael Jackson. My husband and I grew up listening to his and his brother's music. Our daughter, who's 13, is even familiar with his music. He's one in a million, like Elvis Pressly, who will never be forgotton. Their music will live on forever. May God bless his family, friends, and his fans.
God Bless, you Michael. You will always be remembered by those who loved you...and, your music genius... will go down in the history books! I was blessed with the opportunity to see you in person four times....once when you were 11 at a Diana Ross concert, Anaheim, CA. Also, in 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada, performing with your brothers and Janet, and in 1988 in Los Angeles, Ca. Lastly, at Disneyland 1990's. Absolutely, Brilliant! My son, grew up with your music and I danced, to your great sounds in the 80's...All who loved you will miss you. Rest in peace; Michael "King of Pop" but, in my view...you were a Prince, who loved his follow man. May the Lord Bless you and keep you in his loving arms.
Goodbye Michael. One thing is for certain, you won't be ruining the lives of any more babies. You became a dispicable and most pathetic human being. One less child molester in the world makes is a good thing.
As early as music videos arrived, what caught my attention was the way he danced in those spectacular music videos. It was sometime I had not seen before, the costumes, the fine dances, Michael's amazing dance steps. I knew with the next music video, I would see great dance numbers.
Michael Jackson will never be duplicated. They can play hit after hit all day and never play the same song. And 99% of the songs will be songs that everyone knows. Their are 10 years old who know all his music and dance moves and It's been 25 years since the "THRILLER" Video. Michael, you are truely the biggest LEGEND of our times. ICONIC status only happens a couple of times a century. Their are only 5 this century and we still have a few left alive. MARILYN MONROE,ELVIS, THE BEATLES,MADONNA. WE WILL MISS YOU MICHAEL. GOD BLESS YOU
I remember hearing MJ on American Idol and right then I was in love with his music. I have all his #1 hits on my ipod and I listen to them almost everyday. I was in tears when I found out MJ died. I will miss him very much!!
Words can't express the pain, that is in my heart. Growing up trying to mimic his voice and learning all his songs, was such a personal experience. And now that he has moved on to his next adventure on the grandest stage of them, is so sad for us that are left behind. But, with that it brings me some joy to know he can not be bothered by those who tried to tear him down. I will always love you Michael, thank you for making my childhood so much better.
The Lord knew what he was doing when he put Michael on earth. We will miss him...but he will live on through his music. Noone can come close to him. RIP MIKE!
I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, I collected every album that he made with his brothers and on his own. I lost my entire collection in Hurricane Katrina. My heart goes out to the entire Jackson Family. Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight Here one day, gone one night; Like the loss of sunlight on a cloudy afternoon, gone too soon. RIP MJ
I first saw "The Jackson 5" on Saturday morning cartoons back in the early 70s and on American Bandstand. My father kept telling us to turn them off, but I never turned them off. Michael was a trend setter. Without him, there would not be music videos or MTV. You were a Thriller! RIP
In 1984 I was 12 years old living in Stillwater,Oklahoma and was in love with Michael Jackson. The Victory tour was about to begin only one problem, it was not coming to Oklahoma. They were going to draw 100 people's names from Oklahoma to get tickets in Dallas. My parents were lucky enough to get 4 tickets at $40.00 a piece which was a lot back then. My Mom and 2 of my friends were lucky enough to go. I will never forget it. RIP Michael.
American Patiot: Ed MacMahon, Michael Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett...Each very different...All will be missed. Someone said deaths come in 3s. The old, the unusual, and the sick. Yes, each was unique in his and her own way. God bless each and everyone of you.
I lift up the Jackson family in prayer, may God give them strenth. I grew up on the cute little Michael and the J5, I had a big crush; although he was a few years older then myself. My first music concert was when I was 9 and I went to Baltimore to see the Jackson 5, I can still tell you what I had on. You see my age group grew up with Michael and its a special connection and a special loss.
Firstly, I would like to say that Dateline did a beautiful job on Michael Jackson's lifestory tonight. I am very sad about losing Michael. I would like for every person that feels this loss, to go a purchase a Michael Jackson CD (if you can)to mark his legacy in record sales this weekend. I know this may sound strange, but I think it will prove worth it.
I have been in AWE of Michael since I was 7 years old, I am now 47 years old. He has been a part of my life for 40 years. I love his talent and music so much and will always respect and admire him. I feel so sad and I can't stop crying over our loss of a legend. He was and will always be number one in my heart when it comes to entertainers. I was fortunate enough to see his "BAD" tour in 1988 in Houston. I cried the entire time with joy. I was so overwhelmed to see my IDOL performing live. May God bless his children and family and May Michael Rest in Peace. God bless all his fans.
The news of his passing has left us "SPEECHLESS" yet the world has so much to say. "BLACK OR WHITE", man or woman, we "CRY". It is only "HUMAN NATURE" for the lives he has touched to "COME TOGETHER" "THIS TIME AROUND" and "SMILE". Whether it be "LITTLE SUSIE" or a "LIBERIAN GIRL" to a "STANGER IN MOSCOW, we will "REMEMBER THE TIME" he first touched our souls. "YOU ARE NOT ALONE", for some have been there with you since "CHILDHOOD" but for many more, you were around for theirs. "WHO IS IT" that has provided us with decades of entertainment? Inspired so many others to follow their dreams? YOU! By "WORKING DAY AND NIGHT" for us, you deserve to be called a Legend! Although your family, friends and fans believe you are "GONE TO SOON", we will always "KEEP THE FAITH" that your Legend lives on forever. When I hear your music, I get "BUTTERFLIES". "I CAN'T HELP IT" but to "GET ON THE FLOOR" and dance! You say "DON'T STOP 'TIL YOU GET ENOUGH" and I say "Impossible". I will "ROCK WITH YOU" until we "BURN THIS DISCO OUT". I can't help it, it's just "THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL" You have broken barriers that not even our greatest Leaders could do, and in a sence helped "HEAL THE WORLD"."IT'S THE FALLING IN LOVE" with music that will always bring people together. It is with your music that will make those bonds "UNBREAKABLE". The world will continue to turn like a "CAROUSEL" and for generations to come "HIStory" will be told, "HEAVEN CAN WAIT" for me but when my time comes, "WILL YOU BE THERE" to entertain me as you did in this lifetime? I hope so! Thank You, Michael Jackson, for such wonderful memories. May you Rest in Peace. In life and death, you are "INVINCIBLE"!
I really am still in shock and don't know when the tears will end. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson... with his posters all over my wall and "Off the Wall" and "Thriller" playing constantly. I didn't realize it but, a part of me will always be tied to Michael. As I mourn his passing, I feel like a part of myself, my childhood, and some of my fondest childhood memories have passed away with him. I feel honored and privileged to have experienced Michael at his best...to be a part of the very time period when the "King of Pop" was crowned. Michael, you are a "Universal Icon". You have touched my life in such a memorable and impactful way. Thank you for sharing your immense talent with us. It was our pleasure! What a true honor to be here in this world at the same time that you graced us with your talent. Rest in Peace, Michael. Job well done. I will never forget you.
A friend once told me, times like this either bring out the best in people or the worst. I'm glad that the loss of our dear Michael brought out the best in most people. As I read the kind words from those of you who loved him as much as I do, I realized that what Michael left behind in our hearts is more than any No. 1 hit song could ever do. His music, his dancing and the spirit he gave us will live on forever. He inspired us all to be better people...and better human beings. He gave us all he had to give...and no one will ever be able to take that away from us. Rest in peace Michael...we won't ever forget you... God bless your family...and thank you so very much Michael...for everything...
6-29-09 THE SOUNDTRACK OF MY HEART HAS STOPPED! GOD BLESS YOU MICHAEL JACKSON, WE ARE THE SAME AGE, AND YOUR MUSIC HEALED MY HEART DURING MY LIFES JOURNEY, MY KIDS RYHEIM, STEPHANIE FELT YOUR LOVE AS YOUR MUSIC HELPED ME TO LOVE BETTER,IN A TIME WHERE BLACK FOLKS STILL WERE NOT BEING ACCEPTED...YOU HELPED MUSICALLY HEAL THAT HEART..THANK YOU WE LOVE YOU, I'M A BETTER WOMAN MUSICALLY BECAUSE OF YOU...GODBLESS YOUR HEART...CENYTHIA,RYHEIM,STEPHANIE OF COLORADO
Children, the world, the neighbor, life ... "peace" seems to a complicated word, it seems belong to "the professor", but, you tell me it belongs to every life. God blesses you!
I imagined many times how much greater he could have been had he discarded the white glove and instead worn a single white shoe. The thought of it still brings me to tears. His moonwalks would have been so much more dramatic! But you can't have it all in this world.
Nothing to say apart from that god wanted him too early , he could have taken him after his upcoming concert it would be the same :'( ...
This is unbelievable! Just because someome is talented, smart, beautiful, or rich does not make them a great or even good person. MJ is not a person to be idolized or even admired. He had perverse behaviors and if anyone else had been accused of the things he was accused of they would be under the jail. Instead our screwed up society admires him. I am sad for his family and his children for losing him, but he should not be uplifted and admired!
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Michael Jackson. He was a brilliant singer, dancer, and all around creative genius. His songs provided immense joy and pleasure to me during my younger years. In addition, he had such a profound contribution to the world’s culture. We understand and sympathize with his personal life. May he be happy in the hands of the Almighty God. Rest in peace.
Let's remember, no matter the problems he had in life, the drug addiction, etc....this man molested innocent children causing irrevocable harm to babies, fathers, brothers, mothers...sexual criminals impact not only the immediate victim but entire families. This man's life revolved around satisfying his own sick needs at the expense of our most precious babie....may your soul rot in hell. Michael Jackson the humanitarian...what a joke!
KristaSanDiego I studied journalism in college and learned that the person next door is news worthy if he or she had a story that was deemed ‘news worthy.’ Journalists call these stories Human Interest stories. As for celebrities and public figures, they ARE the news. Michael Jackson was a celebrity; therefore, his death is NEWS. No, Michael Jackson was not the Messiah. Yes, he was accused of doing some indecent and inhumane things to some children. Yes, he had a major face lift, whether this was inflicted because of medical reasons or because of self satisfaction, I don’t know. However, there’s only one judge, people, and if Michael asked that judge for forgiveness of his sins, then it’s a done deal, and it doesn’t matter whether I, the posters on this discussion board, or the rest of society dislike him or not. Personally, I liked him and I loved his music. Michael Jackson changed the face of music. His music impacted people globally of all ages, creeds, nationalities, ethnic groups, etc. in a fashion that no other recording artist has been able to duplicate (yet). My condolences go out to the Jackson family. RIP Michael.
people need to drop this. before he died everyone was all "eww Michal Jackson, he plays with little boys" and so on. now that he's dead, everyone is sad. ?? all of you people are hypocrites
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Jackson family and Michael's children.
If we are to truly cherish our loss of Michael, it cannot be done without the recognition of his pure heart full only of love. i defy anyone to find an interview, quote or otherwise of Michael's that contains any negative or hurtful words towards anyone. Amidst the world's scathing comments over the years,he didn't partake in our slander, and rather, held his head and heart up high. R.I.P Michael, God i'm gonna miss you and your spirit
Michael was a little boy trapped in an adults body. He never had a childhood like the rest of us because he was enslaved to the art by his father. So he struggled all his life to attain that childhood. He was a little boy who wanted to have fun with other children. As I know it all the folks that are spewing their posionous venom never walked into a courtroom and testified that they personally saw a crime being committed in our country. Michael was blessed with a lot of God given talent that brought joy to so many of us, including myself at at a very young age in the barrio of S.F., and amazingly it passed on from generation to generation, mine being the first. It passed on because it inspired us and entertained us like nothing before him. It was what Michael aspired to do, entertain us, to please us! He is truly amazing and there will be no one like him ever again. Thank you Michael, and I am sure you are bringing a little bit of heaven to heaven. May you now find the peace you were never able to find here on earth. God bless and rest in peace.
It was the summer of 79 when Michael's Off the Wall album was released. I was 9 yrs old. I remember everyone singing to his tunes and trying to dance and dress like him. Ever since then, Michael has been a part of my life through his music as well as his humanitarian acts of kindness to the world. God blessed us with his presence and man, like everything else, destroyed him. I feel such a deep sadness knowing he died so young and in such debt when he contributed so much to world. In his lucrative years he donated and helped so many in his quest to save humanity through songs such as "We are the World", which are forgotten all to soon. Micheal to the die that I die, you will forever be in my heart because you and I grew up together and I shared your pain through your moments of trial. I'm glad God took you and ended your suffering. May HE enjoy you as much as we did. You were a class act to the end. Love you!
I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON,YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART. I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL MUSIC YOU HAVE LEFTED US. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU AND ALWAYS WILL MAY YOU R.I.P THIS IS SO SAD AND JUST A BIG SHOCK, BEEN CRYING SINCE I HEARD THE NEWS. FEELS AS IF YOU WERE A PART OF THE FAMILY, GROWING UP LISTENING TO YOUR MUSIC AND TRYING TO DO THE DANCES. MICHAEL JACKSON WAS TO ME WHAT ELVIS WAS TO MANY OTHER THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME
MR MICHAEL JACKSON YOU WERE THE GREATEST THERE WILL EVER BE! YOU GAVE US SO MUCH AND GOT SO VERY LITTLE IN RETURN. A CHILDHOOD YOU DID NOT HAVE,FREE YOU COULD NOT BE. YOU ARE IN HEAVEN NOW SO RUN WILD,BE FREE ENJOY THE KID IN YOU THIS WORLD DIDN'T LET YOU BE. RIP FORVER IN SO MANY HEARTS. PRAYERS TO ALL OF THE JACKSON'S IN MICHAEL'S WORDS (REMEMBER THE TIME'S)
Michael is human just like the rest of us. He made some mistakes in his life and so do we all. I don't care what people say or think about him. Every family has had a Michael Jackson moment! At a wedding, at a Birthday, at a Memorial at a Graduation, during a road trip, at a get together, at a Barbecue and so much more and it is with all this happy memories that Michael will be remembered. I get a shiver just thinking that we will never ever see any one like him. So many many of us will never forget you Michael. Thank you for the greatest music I have ever had and will continue to hear. Rest In Peace.
it's too hard for me to comprehend. when i was 4 years old, i saw the thriller movie on vh1 for the first time and always heard his music around my house. i grew up knowing who he was. i always admired his dance moves, his voice, the way he entertained. he was just a big part of my life, my reason for dancing (because "one day," i told my mom at 8 years old, "i'm going to dance with michael jackson"). now at 23, i feel like i lost a large part of my childhood. his legacy will truly live on forever. rip michael.
He was able to achieved in a life-time what only a religion can: bring poeple of all status, race, nation together... To quote my Indonesian friend " As a child how I knew America is a country was when my kindergarden teacher said Micheal Jackson is from America "... R.I.P Micheal. We know you are in a better place!
Since Michael Jackson was made up of 99% plastic, his body will be melted down and turned into Lego's so that children can play with him for a change. Chester has left the building.
You were very much loved Michael. Our family will miss you. Not as the Star, but as the person.
The King during his lifetime, a Legend forever.... R.I.P Michael
It is a sad, sad day... I am in disbelief that a musical genius of my generation, Michael Jackson, has died. No matter what you think about the man he was an iconic part of our culture and has left a legacy of music & entertainment never to be duplicated. May your tortured soul finally be able to rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are go with your precious children and family. Long live Thriller, Billie Jean, the moonwalk and the many songs you gifted to the world!
What about the kids this guy molested? He paid them off because he had money. How many others were there that we didn't know about? This was one weird, deranged, sick person. His legacy will forever be tarnished because of this. I will not miss him.
Poor Michael and I have to say poor Michael because he was searching for love which he did find in his fans but there was a different type of love he was searching for and never found. We will miss you but now you are a peace. We love you Michael.
Well Michael. Thriller is #1 again !!! I guess you DID make that comeback like you said you would. You are the King of Pop now just like you were in the good old days. Save a seat for me in heaven for one of your concerts... Gonna miss you my brother...
The world has truly lost a brilliant music legend. I have always believed that Michael Jackson was innocent of what they alleged against him...he was a child at heart and tragically some people "cashed in" on his generous love towards children. I will always love you and miss you, Michael. :)
My heart goes out to the Jackson Family, and Michael's 3 children. But, it goes out especially to his Mom, Katherine....I know how she is feeling right now....my son died last Oct, 2008, and he was only 34 yrs. old. God give you the grace and strength to get thru this time, and you are in my prayers.
I have twisted feelings. He made some pretty good music and deserved some media attention when he died. It's over and there are many other important issues facing the world. Let's move on. We are held hostage by the media as they are our only method of getting news and there is no other news now but MJ. I also feel slighted because I would certainly liked to hear more about the death of Farrah Fawcett. This is a case of the beauty and the beast!
Micheal's comeback is bittersweet. You'll be missed MJ.
I'm not mourning...but i was stunned. "wow, it just ends like that." No old age, no sickness, no nothing...just exit stage left. I grew up loving the Jackson 5 and OFF THE WALL. I've always thought that there was a place for pop music and I appreciate those who can do it well...and Michael did well, it must be said...as far as all the other BS - part of being a pop star in the 21st Century is image control and his was out-of-control for a while. Had he not ripped his face off, replacing it with Peter Pan's, maybe he would have been less of a public target - and the whole pedophilia thing didn't help either (true or not)...but he was no worse than Elvis or the Catholic church where pedophilia and bazaar pill popping behavior were an institution. I think it's great that this is Michael's comeback. And more people than any arena could fit are enjoying and dancing to his music...and the ticket price is FREE.
I am the same age as Michael, so I grew up with his music. I did not like the person he became, but appreciated his music. I do believe that he had some form of mental illness and that so many people who were in the position to help him instead exploited him. Think about it: It began with his father who knew Michael was his meal ticket. Later on the doctors who should not have continued to perform more and more surgeries on him that basically disfigured him may have done so for monetary gains, and apparently others continued to prescribe medications to him when they should not have. Those who were his financial advisors and ran his ranch knew how much it cost, yet let it happen. And look at all of the parents who continued to allow their children to be alone with him years after the the child molestation claims surfaced. Would you let your child be with an alleged child molestor? Michael made billions but lost it all due to being taken advantage of. And Debbie Roe must have had her reasons for giving up her children, but what do you think she gained by it? There always seem to be financial gains.
Michael Jackson was extremely talented. He's gone but he has left a truly inspiring legacy of music. I wish the media would celebrate his life and contributions rather than nit pick their way through the intimate details of his death. Let him rest in peace.
As a performer, he was beyond phenomenon. I am truly saddened that he died so young, I suppose all the time I felt he would always be around, shaping the cultural landscape. I should be thankful that he started so young and gave us 40 years of incomparable music and dance routines that still make me go "How on earth did he do that?" Pure magic. International treasure.
Some generations had Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra, we had Michael Jackson as a God Given performer in both choreography and music. RIP Michael, your music will remembered always. Thank you for being a icon for me and the rest of the MTV generation. It was fun growing up with your music. I will never forget your Billie Jean Performance.
Please look after my children in heaven Michael. God bless everything good that you have done for this world and keep being hot in the next.
As well as many others around the world I grew up with Michael Jackson's music... I got my first record when i was 6 years old, I always thought he would live msny years and The hope of a new stage in his life .... a new cd a new world tour... I can not say I'm sad because SAD is not even close to what I'm feeling right now. I hope Michael is ok wherever he is right now and I wanna believe that one day sooner or later we'll all be together up there. THANKS MICHAEL!!!
Love You MJ............ WE PRAY for you.......... you leave in r hearts..... RIP from KERALA
I grow up with MJ songs and I love his music and style. God bless him. The only mistake he made was that he born in US where people judged him because of his apperance and the way he is. Why is it to hard to accept people the way they are? Especially if they makes us happy even if for a second with their songs.
Michael, I hope that you find peace now and that while you lived your life lonely and isolated at times, that you are able to see the outpouring of love and support for you at this time. You were loved!Your music will be cherished forever. Find peace. Godspeed Michael!
I still refuse to believe it!!! There is no way I could wrap my head or heart around the fact that he has passed. I never thought this would happen in my life time...my unborn son will never know what great music sounds like!!! That man could make money off of his dreams- his talent was limitless. My whole life I always wished I could be a family friend of the Jacksons...heck we even grew up in the same religion, just knew I might run into him atleast once. I will miss hearing his voice. I can't even sing a song without crying. I'm crying while writing this.
Negativity at this time makes me sick. This man did so much for so many. He is the King Of Pop just as Elvis is the King of Rock and Roll. He was accused of many horrible things but they couldn't prove it because it didn't happen. This man was a sweet spirit and one of the most giving people in the world! he was a child spirit, not a pedofile, he loved children as his friends, because he was one at heart. Elvis began dating Priscilla when she was 14, but do we judge? No, we love him and that is a fact yet so many of u are judging MJ on things that are NOT fact at all! As for the bleaching, ppl do ur homework, it is documented that he did have vitiligo and if he hadn't bleached his skin his body would have had white areas along with his dark skin. People suffering from this disease will tell u that it has NOTHING to do with not being proud of being black, it is for thier own self esteem that they bleach thier skin and he was far from the only one, just one that was in the public eye. His children shouldnt have to read ppls allegations that have no proof online when they search thier father. They should see that we too are mourning with him. This generation just lost our Elvis! I was not a huge MJ fan, but I do love and apperciate him for what he did for my generation and those to come. His music makes us smile, cry, dance, dream, sing and think. The world has lost someone that impacted us all, no matter if we are from the US or India, China or Russia, Africa or Australia. We were all influenced, changed and bettered by his presense in some way. People forget what u have been lead to think will no evidence, and remember what u know as fact. He loved us in the US even when so many of us hated him. He wanted to make the world a better place, and in his death, he has brought us from all around the world together to mourn as one, no hate, no prejudice, just pain and sorrow at the loss of such a great person. His dream has come true, we are one at this sad, sad time in history. We love you, Michael, and you will be missed and never forgotten. "Gone Too Soon"
I will always remember MIchael Jackson as a tortured soul. He was mis-understood, mistreated and made fun of. If he had received this kind of attention and respect when he was alive, he would have given us more beautiful art, music and happy memories. Rest in Peace Michael.
I wish people would stop including his skin color or I should say lack of color as one of the ways HE changed his image. Please understand VITILIGO is a real autoimmune disease and like myself who was once a dark skin part Indian girl am now an ivory white woman. As he said on an interview with Lisa sitting by him, he wished he could have color and enjoy the sun. I get compliments on my 'beautiful skin' but for me and most Vitiligo patients it is extremely psycologically devastaing. I like Michael am considered one of the lucky ones who lost all pigment as opposed to being left with white patches.HE didn't change it...IT CHANGED him.
To Krista,CFrmDallasTx, etc.. why cant you just admit that Michael Jackson was a phenomenal star and that he is just way way too popular than Farrah Fawcett? Surely you can see that. Maybe its a matter of Black or White for you? You could learn a lesson from his songs...He's a great star, he's an icon.
This was a terrible shock to hear about while on vacation in New Orleans. Michael and I are the same age, so needless to say I grew up with he and his music like millons of others. The night that Michael had passed away, the sound of jazz coming from the streets of New Orleans turned to his music. I heard one person say, "why are they playing so much Michael Jackson?" I turned to her and told her of his passing, she began to cry, then sing along with his music. This is a great loss to the music industry, but knowing we will have his music for centuries to come will keep him alive.
My 13-year old daughter and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Michael Jackson's death. His music appealed to people of a vaiety of ages--especially, of course, Thriller. As a matter of fact, two years ago, the faculty and staff (including the principal!) of Creekwood Middle School in Kingwood, TX dressed up and surprised the students by performing the Thriller dance! It's on YouTube under CMS Thriller Dance(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ko0rGfvzVRs). Needless to say, it was a big hit with the kids. What a fond memory! (So, I can't understand why my daughter is mortified when my friends and I try to dance it when her soccer team scores! :)) Anyway, his loss is tragic, but we are grateful his music will live on.
Even though you know you have grown up, this really brings it home, that one of the biggest stars you grew up with is gone. However he left us with memories we will never forget!
Michael, you are and will always be my hero and inspiration. You have given this world so much. I have always believed in you, and knew you were above all the accusations that were made against you. You will always be a part of my heart and soul and you will be severely missed. May you rest in peace now, and know that you will never be forgotten. God Bless.
I am so sick of seeing and hearing about the accusations Michael was accused of, I'm so sick of hearing about his behavior, AND I'm soo sick about hearing of the drugs he may or may not of taken. Michael died He was a great man who defined and only made the music industry better. Michael was a compassionate, loving, caring man who contiuned to give even when he couldn't give no more. Why don't people start talking about the parents who put prices on there children, if the accusations were real no REAL parent would put a price on there own child. As for his behavior maybe if more people had a mind Like Michael there would be less suffering in this world today, I commend Michael on the man he was. As for the Drugs finding out any of that is not gonna bring him back so it shouldn't even matter. It's not gonna change who he was in my eyes and many others eyes I'm sure! They need to let the man rest in peace and let his family and children mourn in peace! Michael You Will forever be Missed!
I absolutely could NOT believe that Michael Jackson had died. My childhood was wrapped around him. Albums, the glove, the purses, dolls, singing along to his music, watching all of his videos and swooning over my childhood crush. No one will EVER do to music what this great man did. He will forever be in my heart. And will forever be considered the greatest music and dance genius that ANY generation will ever see! I love you Michael, a part of my childhood died along with you, my friend. RIP!
It is truly sad that Jon and Kate's divorce and Michael Jackson dieing is this important and sad to people instead of things that really matter.
Please stop the 24 hour coverage! After all, he President didn't die! This is unnecessary and way over done. I will not watch this network until the madness is over.
In a few words... with his untimely death, MICHAEL JACKSON UNITED THE WHOLE WORLD...!R.I.P. M.J.!
michael !! we all gonna mis you so much- you where the greatest entertainer of all time !! only sad that the criminal press has destroid your immage ! but the real fans all over the world , had never left you !! all the fans hand in hand , like a big familie- my deep respect for whole the familie - Randy- Tito- Jermain- la Toya- Janet - Marlon-Jacky Maureen - Joe -Katerine ( gone to sone Michael ) to all the fans !! thank you for your support !!
united the whole world? WHAT? Iran is still fighting, North korea is still saying they will launch nukes and iraq is still going on. No one is united and Michael is not going to bring that.
Sadness beyond expression. Great support for his talent and how we all shared our lives with his music settng the beat. I wish my kids could have lived the magic that his spirit brought to stage and to the airwaves. I was truly inspired by him since I first saw him as a kid. We ALL make mistakes and are misunderstood. We hide our true self to some extent, so others can except us. No one wants to be alone, and Michael was alone and yet knew he had a great talent to share with us. Thank you Michael. Sorry we never met but I saw your concert and was overwhelmed and never forgot see you for what you gave to us all. RS
I remember the Michael when he was first on the Ed Sullivan Show. We are the same age...I chose to remember him as little michael and pre Thriller when he was in the image that God made him...Devastated at the circumstances of his death and heart is with the whole jackson family, including his father, mother and children...Everyone must remember Michael was accused and they were unfounded and settling out of court does not necessitate he was guilty...He brought a gift to the world and made us all smile and one time or another...love you michael, tito, jackie, jermaine, randy, marlon, latoya, janet, rebbie, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, may the Lord touch your grieving heart and don't listen to all the negativity...Death comes like a thief and we never are prepared for it....
My Grandmotehr and Grandfather were at the Americana in Florida and saw the children of the Jackson Five playing in the lobby. Michael you were amazing!!! You truelly are The King of Pop My heart is with your family, god bless all of you. RIP Michael
While the physical being of Michael Jackson is gone, I pray that the spirit of Michael now knows just how truly loved and adored he was around the world. I think he truly needed love more than most and many offered him less than what he gave to the world. One day we will see more of him as his children grow up to be examples of him and his legacy will not just be the genius of music but also to the contribution he gave to his children. Let's remember to keep in mind his family and children are in need of our prayers and respect. Finally Michael has entered into a place of peace and unconditional love. He is with God.
Thank you for the memories Michael. You will be missed. I'd like to thank technology for being able to put all you did, the music, the words, the moves that lead to the most incredible dance moves that has ever and will ever be set-forth....THANK YOU MICHAEL JACKSON. THE KING OF POP IS NOW SINGING WITH THE KING OF ROCK - AS TWO MEN. Cincinnati, Ohio
It will never be the same. Michael Jackson You where the world. You showed that we all listen to the same music be it for blacks or for whites we all listen. R. I. P. You will never ever beforgotten. We love You Michael.
There are only three true Greats, musically - The Beatles, Elvis and Michael Jackson. For those of you who are still hung up on the alleged sexual abuse that was never proven to be true, in which we will never know the truth - build a bridge and get over it! Just like Elvis and every other living person there are negative aspects to all of our lives. However, it does not negate the 100% true facts of MJs music, extraordinary talent and the impact he has made GLOBALLY! You have to admit that. The reason why it's all over the news is because for DECADES pthis guy has been with us - DECADES. There has not been another moment like this probably since Elvis and there won't be again. God bless the family and may he rest in peace with his Judge, as you my fellow man are not it.
Michael was the greatest of all time. He crossed so many barriers and it's unfortunate his death had to show us what a talent and hero he meant to us and the world. Sure he was entangled in scandal with accusations...but that's just what they were...only accusations...nothing was ever proven. He most likely was extorted for monetary gain and nothing more. I blame myself for believing in the accusations and we should all be ashamed for claiming his guilt. We forget he barely had a childhood of his own. He was a genius...and like most geniuses he was different...he was a grown kid looking for love--is that so different from most of humanity? He gave so much of himself and a lot of people betrayed his love. I remember me and my friends as kids wearing our cheap white gloves on our one hand and standing on bed pretending to be Michael on stage singing his songs. Gone but never will he be forgotten! Forgive us Michael, thank you and may you find the peace and love you were seeking.
Every time I hear even one chord of one song today it brings tears to my eyes. I believe that the musical genius that was Michael Jackson will never be duplicated for the rest of time. The sound, the dancing, and the vision that he created will live on forever. I remember performing to Michael Jackson songs in my friend’s living room with her mom watching and laughing at us. We had to be around 11 or 12 at the time. I am a completely different person than that little girl dancing in the living room yet; Michael Jackson has remained a part of who I am. Strangeness in the recent years aside, he amazed me. I can’t yet imagine a world without Michael Jackson in it. What will happen to music now? I absolutely regret not ever seeing him in concert. RIP MJ. The world has lost something great with your passing and music will never be the same. <3
This is not the place for those who want to berate Michael Jackson or his fans. You have the right to say what you like about the man, however, doing so on a page that is, for the most part, a tribute site is in poor taste. Sure, there are other spaces. But those who have found this space and seek solace with other fans should be allowed to do so without the harsh commentary from others.
For me, watching the lifestory of Micheal Jackson unfold was like watching some weird soap-opera . . . and what I took away from all of it was "What NOT to do" in regards to plastic surgery, lifestyle and ways of treating children. His music doesn't mean much for me . . . I think other artists like Jagger and others have had, honestly, MORE impact that Jackson. After all, what's a moonwalk and a hip-shimmy worth at the end of the day? He was good, folks, but let's keep this in perspective -- he was WEIRD, and felt he was above the law in every regard -- let's not forget THAT. There isn't any one of us who could do what he did, in regard to children or prescription drugs, and get away with it. We'd all be in jail, but, No! not the "Gloved One."
Where was all this love & respect when he was $400 million in debt & struggling? Due to personal choices he now has three father-less children. I was looking forward to his That's It concert series; I wanted to see if his talent was still there. By the way, his moon walk that he 'created'? It was actually performed years ago in Vaudeville & he emulated Fred Astaire. While he was no doubt highly talented, he did get ideas from great performers before him. I never did believe the charges against him 1993 & again in 2003, but he was very eccentric and eccentric people act odd, which sadly made him a target. I hope the best for his children. I also hope that his legacy will be his music, not the sad, weird and awful past 16 years or so of his life. Michael Jackson has gone Home to God. We will see him again one day.
I tried this on Friday to no avail... This is sad but damn, you folks need to get a hold of yourselves! You obviously do not know true loss... loss right at home. Move on
It is a sad day in America when the death of singer, dancer and accused child molester gets more media coverage than the return of a dead soldier to his family who fought for something, that in the end will affect lives more than a song or a dance move could begin. Why is it necessary America knows the intimate details of MJ's death? Is there nothing sacred? Shed your tears for the innocent victims that fell prey to his illusions. To MJ's family if you really loved him...give his children a chance.
There will never be another like Michael Jackson. He was a fantastic performer, writer, dancer and a phenomenal human being who was able to unite cultures and people of all races worldwide thru the incredible music that he created - a true original. I never believed those accusations of child molestation. And I pray now that he has found the peace that alluded him in life. My most sincere condolences to his family and his children. Take comfort in knowing that his genius will live on thru his spectacular body of work. Rest in Peace!
When I first heard of Michael Jackson's passing, mind immediately went back to when I was a nine year old girl with me first crush. I had his Thriller poster hanging on my wall. You know the one with the white shirt, white pants and the yellow bowtie, yellow sweater vest. My heart broke into a thousand pieces. I chose to remember all the good times I enjoyed listening to his music and his moves. Man he could move! Watching him, makes you Want to dance, makes you Want to Feel the music the way he did. And I for one think he had the most gentle soul that wouldn't hurt a fly. Everyone's weird or quirky but we just didn't have the kind of money he HAS to do or say all things he could. And now I say goodbye to a BIGGER than life soul the will be greatly missed but never forgotten!! Rest In Peace Michael J Jackson!! My heart goes out to your children, family and friends ~ Love you!
I wish....Michael..could read all the loving tributes...to his genius! All, the thousand tributes across the world ... since the news of his death. Michael Jackson...touched so many lives. Profound, individual. But, one must remember, Michael was "a true humanitarian" Michael Jackson...wanted peace throughout the world. "Listen, to the words of his many musical pieces" Michael Jackson...did not just ... write music, dance, and change the music world...he reached out to humanity... across cultures, and throughout the "World" he truly...loved his brothers and sisters, of all races and ethic backgrounds. Michael, your genius...will live on..and be written in the history books, for all generations, to come...God Bless, you. My heart is heavy. Thoughts and prayers, are with your children and family. Your soul was a loving soul...and, now you are at peace in heaven with our heavenly, father. Sleep, sweet Prince, sleep...God be with you.
Rest in Peace, Michael. Maybe now he can find the peace he didn't seem to find in life. As for him being the best entertainer of all time, I still think Prince is a better entertainer but, of all time...all time has not ended, yet.
I can not believe what I am seeing. This Jerk is a child molester! I am so glad he is off this earth! His music always sucked! His family did not even like him! I realy hope they burn his body and dispose of it in a local garbage can! He is not a king of anything! He was a punk of life and he did his own self in! God would not this kind of a** wipe in his heaven!:):):)
Michael was a awesome performer,It is know other way that I could describe him he was just a phenominal gifted young man. I am still devastated over hearing about his death I can't stop crying. I know that he gone to a better place. Where there will be know crying are lying. Just peace and love, I am going to miss you Michael R.I.P and may God go with you. This week the Lord called home two people in the entertainment world that I myself and world alone thought so much about and one person that I knew personally on the same day. I have been overwhelm with grief for the past few days. I finally came to my senses and I know that they all were sent here for a reason and they have all completed their mission here on earth.
As good an entertainer he was in his youth he has done nothing in the last fifteen years to warrant all this hype. We do not even go this far when our former President's pass on. There are real problems in this world other than Michael's death. It is time to get back to reality.
Staying up until 3am last night watching Michael Jackson videos on five different tv stations, I was most blown away by his humanitarian side and his love for people and the earth. "Earth Song" and "Heal the World" are as or more relevant than they were in the 90's. He loved children very much, and although I didn't know what was going on psychologically, I felt it was genuine and innocent.
best wishes to micheal from beijing.sandy
well well america i hope you are satisfy he is gone now who will be next you the media, so called friends have all had a hand in killing micheal slowly but surely you didn't stop till you get enough i pray he is in a better place. my thing is how come you people could understand what he was goin thru and i knew what he was goin thru from his father to the media have all help in killing him may is his sweet soul rest in peace
He is dead and little boys are safe. Maybe his poor kids will have a chance at a normal life. I only hope MJ rots with the devil as he should. You idiots who are fawning over his passing should be pitied.
Thank you so much for everything Michael. Some of my earliest memories was listening to your amzing songs and marvelling at the incredible dance moves. You were a once in a lifetime talent and character, and I will greatly miss you. Your dance moves no matter what would give me shivers, and were also a hit when I went out I'm so fortunate to have had the privielge of seeing you perform live, and I sincerely hope you find your peace. Thank you so very much - The Greatest That Will Ever Be.
there will never be another like Michael Jackson! i love his music and i have been listening to it since i found out about his death. my heart and prayers goes out to michael's family and i would like to say to the family hold your head up high cause Michael will live on in my heart as well as others! i will still continue listening to his music and my kids will still listen to his music and their kids will soon know who Michael was and we plan on keep Michael alive in our family! we love you Michael and you will be missed and forever loved! long live the King Of Pop! RIP Michael Jackson!
MICHAEL JACKSON.........known globally and rightfully earned. No other will ever touch his accomplishments musically or otherwise. Although he was born to endure a tortured life he still gave the world the one thing no one else has accomplished UNITY, LOVE, and FORGIVENESS. I was born in 1971 and have truly enjoyed and was in awe of his great talent. My kids love his music as well and I never thought he would be gone so soon. I am utterly shocked and dismayed that we will no longer experience even more of the talent that was to come. The world is darker now that he is gone because Michael singlehandedly brought more light and joy to people around the world. Throughout his life he endured many people lying and putting him down but he still devoted himself to his music, fans, making a difference in the world, and his three children. My heart goes out to his family and especially his children who have lost a truly devoted father. Rest in peace Michael, the torture is over but you will live on in music, dance, and in our hearts forever.
I can't believe that Farrah was mentioned in a small article and Michael jackson took front stage. I had to search for her, but he was plastered in my face. There may never be another Michael, but same can be said for Farrah who didn't have to hide behind a fairty tail world and show up for court in her jammies!
The man has done nothing productive in the last 15 years. The only thing he has managed to do is turn himself into a huge laughing stock as well as a human freakshow. Lets not forget that the man is a child molestor. I for one am already tired of this ridiculous media coverage... we have so many other actual news items to cover besides this freakshow.
I am so upset by his death, It is still as shocking as it was on thursday. I am so saddened, and I just want to say R.I.P. MJ. I love you, and I hope that you can now find peace.
sorry if u diedyour still awsome is micheal jackson alive hes my hero i love his songs om will he ok will he do songs? i cant stop asking beacuse i did not see i was not there hes still awsome i love thriller and remember the time there my fAVE um im still 8 and i know his songs can u tell me if hes ded that day was my b-day :(! is he? ??????????????? :(
Poor Farrah!!!
Dear Friends, I want to share my memories from my heart. I am thirty six years old and my name is Rebekah LaSala. I hope Michael can see how much we love him now up in heaven. I hope he felt my love when I was in Seattle for hours today creating a memoriam and grieving his death. I have so much to say...but first, I want to say that I truly and FROM MY HEART BELIEVE THAT MICHAEL WAS UNJUSTLY VILLIFIED BY THE PRESS, Michael was completely innocent, Michael was not a molester. Michael could not have even conceived it. Michael loved children, he was so innocent, he felt like a child and saw himself as a child. He was SO DEEP but did not realize THAT THE WORLD IS SO SHALLOW THAT THEY WILL SEE THAT ANYONE WHO HAS KIDS SLEEP IN THEIR BEDROOM, HOWEVER INNOCENT, ...THEY WILL ATTACK THAT PERSON. He was too sensitive for this world. When I was in 5th grade, I had worshipping parties, literally, for Michael Jackson when we watched "Billy Jean" and screamed at Michael's good looks. And though we might not have realized it, we were also screaming at his amazing talent. I had every poster known to man on Michael, I even had my somewhat racist grandfather buy me a Michael Jackson doll. And I had the gloves and the socks, which I wore to school in 1983 and I almost got beaten up for it by some bully kids who were jealous of my amazing MJ paraphernalia. I have to say, as a poet, Michael's soul touched a deep part of me and I feel a kinship with Michael. I grew up with parents who listened to Motown. I grew up in Suburban Washington D.C. and I am used to black music influencing everyone. Michael's music was more than what we could even understand. His music was not just the amazingly talented, unbeaten music of its time, but moreover, Michael's music broke racial barriers for many other artists and this is a powerful fact. I always felt that people did not see the things about Michael that I (and others like Liz Taylor) saw. For example, I never felt he was a pedophile. I felt, and still do, that Michael had a mental illness up unto his death. I feel that he had so much pressure growing up from his father's abuse and always having to be number one, that he never felt (and often spoke of) never having a childhood. So, being that he never felt he had a childhood, he often wanted to be Peter Pan. If you want to be Peter Pan, then you want to hang out with children. I do not feel he hurt those children. I feel it was stupid for him to have slumber parties, but I do not feel he hurt those children. Ultimately, we may never know. But it was never proven. I want to say that Michael's songs changed me too and much as Jen did, I would like to write down what they meant to me: 1.) BEAT IT: Being bullied at school for being chubby (and I am still overweight but for a long time wasn't), I loved this song and pictured singing it to my bulliers. 2.) HUMAN NATURE: I felt that this was such a beautiful song about the world. 3.) WE ARE THE WORLD: Michael's voice was of course undeniable on this song, and in 6th grade, I got to sing the part. 4.) BILLIE JEAN: The lit up tiles in the video was such a cool concept for 1983 and his dancing was just so darn classic. The moondance especially. How can we forget this? 5.) MAN IN THE MIRROR: When I was going through puberty, this was an important song for me to remember. 6.) BLACK OR WHITE: This song has ultimate truth to it and its message has never died. I am so very sad tonight and I have to say that I truly want to share my grief. My mother died two years ago and she grew up with Michael Jackson. She said he was the entertainer of her generation and of mine. He gave so much of his life to entertain us. The least we could have done was to try to understand him, try to understand the devastation of growing up abused as a child of performance and then try to get your childhood back. He had a heart that was too pure for this world. As a highly sensitive person and poet, I often feel the same. Let's all remember the gift of music he gave us and realize he also gave us a gift of himself. I never believed and still do not believe he was a pedophile. You can challenge me on this until the cows come home, but this is what I feel. And I believe he was truly innocent and there were people out to take advantage of his money and fame. Sincerely, Rebekah
We were an immigrant family new to the States and I remember the first album my dad bought me was Thriller. After the Thriller video was released, I remember him taking me to video stores to look for a copy and we finally found one! Michael Jackson and his music transcended everything and everyone. It didn't matter where you were from or where you now lived. Everyone was a fan. That was how amazing and great he is.
I'm so sad. I feel so bad. I can't believe that Michael is gone. Good-Bye Michael
Pedophile, plain and simple. I'm celebrating!
((A poem dedicated to Michael Jackson. The man whom inspired me to be the person I am today.)) Human The king of pop. The ruler of our time. Through all of your ‘sins’ you still continued to shine. Our love will be with you, wherever you go, Still morning your death, come the newly fallen snow. At least you’re at rest now, eternal peace, You experienced hell here, so earth you shall leave. We ask for forgiveness, Forgiveness from all, For the things we shouldn’t have assumed, and all the things we did wrong. We forgot you were human, picking at you. The ridicule you received, for just living your dreams. Day after day, As you wilted away. Such a sad end this has come to, We’ve realize now, You are human, You hurt too. We mourn in prayer, In dance, in song. For your soul, we know, Will carry on. ~Written by Michelle Lee Edwards ((Dedicated to Michael Jackson, The King of Pop. May you Rest In Peace. Michael was a great inspiration for me as a growing teenager. As a 17 year old, my band’s first show was at a local high school event during which we played “beat it” to a very backward audience in India- the year 1985. Though our version of ‘beat it’ turned out like crap, it was nevertheless a great testament to Michael's music that pervaded all parts of the world. Michael is the finest gift that America has given the world. The odds of a similar superstar in the future are very slim. We should celebrate his life.
THE TRUTH ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON: More than anything he was a PRODUCT. He was the music BUSINESS' icon and a music business' marketer dream. This product was sold at a very large scale all over the world and that's why he always made the headlines. It is true that behind that product there is a human and a bit of an artist too. But his mission as a music business product was not exactly to make art or make your life and mine better through music. His mission was to make money. Not only for him but for all parties involved in his career. His primary mission, as the music business product that he was, consisted of being profitable, period.
My everlasting memory of Michael Jackson is when I fell in love with him all over again after his legendary performance of Billie Jean in 1983. My heart just stopped. The moment changed the face of history and what was to come. I grew up listing to the Jacksons, dancing to "Dancing Machine" ABC and countless others MJ songs. My sincere condolensences go out the Jackson Family, this is huge loss, they've lost a son, brother, father, and the world has lost an icon. He hat will never be forgotten. His music and legacy will live on forever,by all that loved him, emulated him. He will truly be missed by all.~Simone
I grew up with Michael and his unbelievable songs and performances. His songs still give me goosebumps and remind me of the most amazing times. I pray for his eternal rest and peace and I pray for God to give his family and friends the strength they may need to overcome this terrible loss.
You live by the life that you lead...now you have died by the life you lead! May God have mercy on your soul as you confront him! May your children be ever bless and your family ever strong! You should have gotten older and wiser, talent is a forever blessing from God to share with the world! No more pain, for the formal things have passed away! Rest Micheal rest!
How come no mention that he was a creepy pedifile? Rest in hell you creepy bastard!!!
i can remember, way back when the Thriller album came out, being woken up by ‘Thriller’ and ‘Beat It’ for early morning trips to my grandmother’s house. i will never forget the ‘alarm clock’, just as i will never, ever forget Michael Jackson. we will never see another like Michael; he will be missed
My heart stopped when I heard the news that Michael Jackson passed away. I felt as though I had lost someone in my own family. As a kid growing up, I remember practicing MJ dance moves in front of a mirror because I wanted to move like him. All strangeness aside in the recent years, I will remember Michael Jackson as an optimist, a sincere humanitarian, generous, compassionate, a person who wanted to bring the good out of all people. For those who make jokes and put him down, I ask you this: How would you turn out if you endured torture as a child and tough personal obstacles in your life with an audience? His music is timeless and will live on forever! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and true loved ones. Michael Jackson was amazing, and I will miss him.
I dont think people understand the impact Michael jackson has had.Definately the most popular person on earth. You were the biggest entertainer that EVER lived, you have fans in every corner of this planet, you bought together people of every religion, race, colour with your music. Someone doubting that should just take a look at his concerts worldwide, Michael Jackson transcended color, he dedicated his life to make music, which made people happy and thats the reason the world is mourning its biggest star. your star will always burn the brightest in the universe...RIP Michael Jackson from Pakistan
Dear Michael, Everyone wants you to be alive once again. People are dying to come in terms that you are no more. While I was watching your videos on the news of your death, tears rolled down & my wife felt very sad cuz, she never saw me so sad. You moved masses to your rhythm. No one will match your supremacy and your legaly will live on till music ends. No doubt, you ruled & will rule the music world till eternity. I saw my young 3 years old daughter moving her hips to your rhythm while she was watching you for the first time on TV news. This proves what an impact you made on masses through your music. You conquered the world with music. You are a legend gone so early. An iconic figure world will never forget.
“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.” Michael Jackson
I grew up watching you and listening to your music, your the reason who i am now, i compose, dance and choreograph, you were a big inspiration in my life, so what if they pressed charges, watching most of your videos about your personal life, i always understood how u felt growing up without experiencing a child's life.

I've read some of the messages and some were disturbing but that's life. You know Even JESUS had haters, oh yeah they nailed hime to a cross, why should we as human beings think that Micheal Jackson would have it differently.........hhmmmmmmmm! If they crucified JESUS I expected the hate, not exceptable by any means but life as we know it. This is for the news commentators in which I watch everyday, MSNBC is planted on my television. Is it possible in any way that you guys stop comparing Micheal Jackson to Elvis Presley...Elvis was a racist, he once said that the only thing Nigga's can do for him is buy his albums and shine his shoes and he took that hateful heart to his grave and in no way has astonished the world with his music as Micheal Jackson did, anytime you have prisoners I mean for real prisoners pay tribute to a person of extraordinary talent and humanity efforts through his life time, says alot about his destiny and determination he had with having people around the universe understand, respect and acknowledge one another.....That's part of why Micheal Jackson is so loved around the WORLD! Rest In Peace Micheal and I'm sure your in the bossom of GOD's arms. My condolences to the family and his children forever....God Bless!
There isn't one Michael Jackson song that I didn't like. His music is timeless and I will forever be a fan. No matter his physical appearance, Michael was ALWAYS smoking hot. I wish the media would focus on the positives because this a time for his fans to celebrate his LIFE. Stop dragging his name through the mud. That's what drove him to his demise. RIP Michael. You will eternally be missed. Now you're in heaven with the rest of God's angels.
June 25,2009 will be a day remembered by the world that we lost Michael Jackson.A universal musician,Michael Jackson have touched the hearts of millions. He was a entertainer born with a special mission to help others. Mr.Jackson was a entertainer larger than the industry,he was a institution and beacon of light for the world.Michael Jackson was a musicial establishment,he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.Winning 13 Grammy Awards and 13 number one singles in his solo career,Michael Jackson became known as the King of Pop.Memphis has it's own connection with Michael Jackson, when in 1994 he married Lisa Marie Presley the daughter of Elvis Presley. We must celebrate the life of Michael Jackson as a Memphis icon.On behalf of the fans in Memphis we will not forget the legacy of Michael Jackson. Michael, when I was 12 I saw Thriller on TV and I fell in love immediately! After that you were my idol and the man I dreamt of everyday!I was stuck with you all thru my puberty and later.I saw you live several times and the news of your death had me shocked for hours crying on the coach! How can I begin to believe that Michael has gone?A world without MJ?No one in the music business would be the way they are without the influence of Michael! They all lie when they deny it!Everyone of us knew that MJ was someone different than us and we knew that his talent was all that characterised him throughout his life! After the allegations MJ was and still and will be the person I looked up to and changed my life in many ways!He was like someone I knew and I will always cherish the moments I listened to his music and had all his posters around me!Only people like me who grew uo with MJ know what I mean...there will be no one like Michael and I can't imagine that I won't see him alive on TV or in a concert anymore!I will never believe that sweet Michael has gone!It hurts too much!and as for the people who still blame him just take a moment and tell us how you can be so sure-were you present?-that the allegations were true?If I were a mom I would never had claimed anything concerning my child in public! they knew that their child would be more hurt after and I wouldn't ask for even 1 cent!Mike had a different life and he felt differently about the children...he was not like the rest of us.That's why he became a legend...Goodbye Michael...thank u 4 everything you gave us all-I'll never forget u-so wiil millions of people all around the world...RIP-love you
Michael was a talented entertainer. There is no one that can ever, ever compare to Michael, past, present & future. Truthfully, he was the King of Pop.
Delusional, I say! get a hold of yourselves...
All the little boy's of the world will be safer now. It's sick people like this dude that don't need to walk among us! Thank GOD for free speach.
Michael Jackson will live forever in our memories. There is not a performer from our time that can rank with him in the world who was simultaneously loved and tortured by the media. I watched his life unravel throughout my life, as we are only a year apart in age. I hurt for him when the people who wanted to leech what they could from him destroyed his image and confidence. He brought all of us joy and music and enhanced our lives with his dancing and gentle spirit. His humanitarianism was an inspiration to the world. Even though his appearance changed drastically throughout his life, I could see the same little boy I saw in 1969 up there dancing and singing his heart out for us, wanting to be loved...I loved you Micheal and always will...Peace be with you.
I never realized there were so many snivelling sappy people out there. Good to know.
Wow people really have nothing better to do then go and cry on cameras about a guy who, besides his music, had nothing good to offer anyone. I was a fan of his music, but how can you look past the fact that he was a pedophile drug addict?
I grew up listening to MJ's music, and inspite of having religiously followed many artists, believe that MJ is the king of them all. IMHO, he was an innocent person, who was full of love. The US media demonized him, but millions of fans stood by him. RIP, MJ.
How much leniency does celebrity afford? A drug addled pedophile who altered his appearance beyond recognition, gave wine to and slept with adolescent boys.... BUT! had 2 very good albums and several hit songs... so... let the cannonization begin! What a twisted society we live in. I would've loved to be at the pearly gates when he showed up... "no but you don't understand... I wrote Thriller and Billie Jean!"... "Yeah that's nice buddy, but we frown on the whole man boy love things so... sorry, no can do!"
i agree with jimmy, lets stop idolizing the child molester. what about farrah who never was arrested for acts against children. my heart goes to ryan and redmond
I am disturbed by michael fanatics who seem to forget the accusations about child molestation. I am glad that he has no more children to touch. i pray social services force his children into counseling because with their background, they will need it. I have no sad feelings, i believe every one pays for their sins, michael thought the fire burning his hair in pepsi commercial was hot, he is burning in eternity now!!
"Michael is the finest gift that America has given the world." What an absurd statement. While a talented but troubled singer, he doesn't make the top 100 gifts to mankind originating in America. Get a life people because while you are crying about an entertainer, congress and the president is spending us into oblivion and passing government intrusive bills without reading them. That is what you ought to be crying about.
People, if this was/is your messiah-- you're in trouble..delusional (shallow)? I dug michael as well but as an entertainer. I know great Americans, great people etc...Michael was a great entertainer and will be missed as such, go easy on "Messiah has died" swirling in you head - it's going to be ok.
I was NEVER a fan and maybe his music was good at one time but he was one of the reason are children are in trouble today because they think this was accepable behavior. Molesting children, hanging babies over the railing, looking like a freek. give me a break. Move on. Farrah Facette was a far better influance on socitey they he ever was
Farrah who?
Did he have issues? Absolutely but show me the person who says they don't and I'll call them a liar to their face. Was he a child molester? According to our judicial system NO! So what are we left a musical genius a human being who let his excesses get the better of him. Haven't we heard this before??? All I know is that I kissed a girl for the first time to "I'll Be There" and was rejected by a woman I really loved during the same time "She's Out of My Life" came out. I don't consider myself a crazy fan but I do feel like I lost a life companion. The Universe Awaits Michael Jackson. Go in Peace.
best this america gave the world? thats just stupid, what about the end of wwI or WWII? What about 60% of the tab for the UN (which hate us anyway)? leave it to a lib to say a psycho, insecure, self-hating, child molestor is the best this America has to offer, prob a frog...
The death of MJ truly shines a light on how important it is to intervene and to try with all of your might to reach out to someone with an addiction. It likely will not stop what inevitably comes in the end, but I feel terrible for MJ and terrible for his kids that no one, least of all Michael himself could stop what was coming. It is truly heartbreaking and has affected me in such a deep way that really confounds me. I don't know where this grief is coming from. But I guess it stems from having witnessed such talent coming from such a gentle soul - a performer so committed to his trade and to his fans yet he appears to have suffered from the very trade that he dreamed of and chose to pursue. And no, I am not delusional or indicating MJ was perfect, nor am I starry eyed. Rather it has hit me in the gut - this life of being human - fallacies and all. All of us are human and certainly MJ displayed his human flaws, but unlike the rest of us his were on display out in the wide open, brutal, fickle and cold public arena. I feel guilty in a weird way because we should have been better stewards of the talent that he graced upon us. We should have given him a warm, loving place to come and lay his troubles and to receive some help and support, in spite of his humanity. Isn't that what we all need? His talent was incredible and extraordinary and could be seen from the very first time he sang as a child with such wide, hopeful and sparkling, soulful eyes. He came into the business a lamb being lead to the slaughter in a way - who or what could ever prepare any of us for a life of such grand scale and enormous challenges, temptations and unfamiliarity? Where do we get that playbook - the one that prepares us for the road ahead we could never have imagined...the one that provides all of the right choices and cheat sheets for choosing the path with fewest rocks and potholes? How to choose our associates, those we can trust, those that wish us true success and happiness versus leeching on for the ride and the money? MJ seemed driven by the love he received from fans, yet was devastated by some of those same fans who judged him and turned their back on him. They only wanted the god parts, not the rest. He wanted privacy for his kids so he covered them in veils - yeah, a little odd, but perhaps his trust of the world and fear that his kids would suffer lead him to choose unusual methods. Again, where is that darned old rulebook? But, rather than offer our help and understanding - we ridiculed him. He was apparently made fun of when he was young, so he had plastic surgery because of his shame and we ridiculed him over and again. Where was our empathy? I am not a therapist or doctor, but when I look at all of this, it is such an obvious tragedy and one that we all witnessed like a train about to collide with another. We were riveted - we could not take our eyes away as the train steamed ahead. Shame on us. What a frustrating and extremely challenging life. You can have all the money, fame and fortune in the world - yet be so alone and unhappy with no one to turn to that can pull you out. What a tragedy. Regardless of his humanity he was one of a kind to the likes of which we will truly be lucky to ever see again. His children should be proud of their father - he was unique, gifted and chose to reach out to the world with conviction and his incredible talent. He was only human and carried the burden of being such. I hope that wherever he is MJ is able to see all of the world raise him up in celebration of what he gave us...something wonderful, flaws and all.
Do all the people who keep saying he is in God's arms and in Heaven know Michael converted to Islam? I mean do you guys just spout random religious things out before knowing the facts?
Rest in Peace, Michael. Thanks for all the memories you have given us.
Being in my 50's & from Indianapolis, how well I remember that adorable little boy with powerhouse lungs. Had those around him cared more, had his parents insisted upon schooling being as much a priority as his career, had ANYONE told him allowing children in his bed was WRONG WRONG WRONG, had SOMEONE taken his drugs away and called the police if necessary, we just might still have MJ around. Unfortunately for MJ, those around him were more interested in riding the gravy train than seeing he had adequate care & supervision. RIP, Michael-you'll be missed.
RIP Billy Mays. Greater man than Michael.
I feel lucky I had the privilege to grow up with his music. I learned English memorizing his songs. I made it to the 24th floor of the hotel that he was staying at but got caught before I could get to the 26th floor where he was at and got kicked out of the hotel by his body guards which is one of the funniest memory of mine :o). He was a universal treasure and now that he is gone the world will not be the same again. Love you forever Michael.
I never previously thought about the impact MJ had on our culture through his dancing, music, and videos. Now that he's gone, I realize we have lost a brilliantly talented person. I'm part of the MTV generation that grew up watching him. Whatever the controversy of his private life, it is overshadowed by the joy and happiness he brought to billions worldwide. He was obviously a tortured soul to repeatedly transfigure himself through surgery; but he is at peace now. I will miss you Michael Jackson. You will always be the King of Pop and never be dethroned. Bless your family and Godspeed to you.
This is absolutely misplaced and way over the top. Obviously, the people who hold these media production jobs and confuse PR with news have inflated this way beyond what it deserves. This is more coverage than a Pope's funeral. We didn't lose a Beatle here, we lost a guy who ripped off a Beatle...literally. A sad, tragic story of a young boy who's adult legacy really has nothing to do with his mostly forgettable music career which really ended more than 25 years ago.
This is a spectacle - just as he was in life. I am conflicted about his death - just was I was about his life. He seemed to have many demons, and at one time there was no one bigger. He's gone - he will live on to those who loved him, and his music. He was a tortured soul, who did have talent. I feel for his children, if they really were his children.
Michael was an angel, sent to us to do a job. His mission was completed and God has taken back his angel. He was a beautiful, beautiful person. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed greatly. We love you Michael.
Too bad he was a man that liked little boys tooooo much. His music was great but he had many flaws about him that over shadowed that.
The news is sad about the stars that we have lost at such a young age. I read a lot of discouraging comments about Michael Jackson. His life, his features, man or woman, black or white. The thing that gets to me is that we as people have not learned anything from the words of his music or his death. I know the man was not the messiah or lived an unpure life, but I believe he tried and succeeded in doing what others (Elvis) have not done before. That was breaking down cultural walls and showing the world love for his fellow man. So for those of you who will continued to judge, just think, you did it to Jesus Christ, so who is Michael? Right! Just believe that he is resting now and that the only judge he will ever have again is the one that is above all sin. God! RIP Michael you try to love as many as you could,
Rest in Peace, Dear Michael! You were a spectaculary gifted human being who was with us for much too short a time. There is not one other person who has the right to judge you or your life, but it seems that so many people will do it anyway. I pray that you are finally at peace, and that you family can heal their broken hearts over time. I also hope that the folks who are so bent on demonizing you and your memory never have the pain of being unfairly judged themselves.
What a devestating loss to the music world. I can remember as a teenager having TONS of MJ posters all over my walls, buttons on my jacket, and dancing and singing along to all of his music. What a wonderful time that was! My hope is that people will remember Michael for the tremendous performer that he was and the wonderful music that he gave us,rather then what he became later in life from the bizzare physical transformation to the disturbing charges brought against him, to the downright insane things such as dangling his baby off a balcony.Michael, may you rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends and many fans during this difficult time. You will be missed!
OMG! I am devatasted. He was so important to everything I am. I really am hurting. Michael Jackson? Of course not. I was talking about Billy Mays. Get a life.
I am truly saddened by Michael Jackson's passing at such a young age. I have traveled all over the world and everyone, everywhere seems to know his music. I have so many memories attached to his songs. The first time I heard "You Are Not Alone" I cried because it was so beautiful. The first time I saw the "Thriller" video I was absolutely blown away...amazing. Whatever you or I may think of him as a person - his weirdness and questionable behavior/mannerisms - we can't deny the way he touched so many people's lives with his talent. He changed music, dance, fashion and most importantly, the way our culture views people of color. He broke racial barriers and paved the way for so many others. Sadly, his life and death is also a reminder that no amount of fame, success or money will 'cure' a tortured soul. I hope he's finally found the peace he never seemed to find in life. RIP Michael.
MJ,I love you,Rest in Peace and advance to ur spiritual journey of lives
This is the beautiful Michael I will always remember. For me, you put a little magic into an almost unbearable childhood. Love You! Rest In Peace.
Farrah WHO?! Are you kidding me! Other than being a Charlie's Angel and a brave fighter of cancer she really didn't do much else. Come on, REALLY!
I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson he will truely be missed. My prayers are with him family and the kids. God loves you and so do all your fans.
Two reasons why Michael Jackson should be the lead story on every site. First we should be talking about Iran, what is happening there is more important than any one person's passing. Secondly we shouldn’t be mourning the death of a pedophile. If you don’t think he was why in the world would he sleep in the same bed with little boys and build a boy trap known as Never Neverland? Get back to the important stuff.
I only knew him as the guy that "slept with kids and hung babies over the side of buildings!" , but now i see how he was amazing at singing, dancing and being a good father. I wish i good have given him a better chance now that he is gone.
I'm sorry we lost a legend there will never be another one like him,an i'm glad. One is all it took.I'm glad he at peace now maybe people will leave him alone that all he ever wanted.May god bless him an his family.I love him as child,an i love him even more.An that why it hurt me to kno a genius will be miss dearly. He live the past, present an future in one life. That wat made him the greatest entertainer alive. His legacy will live on forever.I love u MJ Rest in peace now i'll see u when i get there, u will moonwalkin. Sincerely PaulaLucke JacksonMs
I too am inclined to agree with Krista. As a musician myself, I consider Michael one of the best...especially during the 80s. But let's face it y'all, he wasn't a saint as most of you are making him out to be...no one is. My heart does go out to his parents, brothers and sisters and especially his children. Rest in Peace, Michael.
Good one, Jon!
MJ I always believed in you... i love you and miss you music/dancing. REST IN PEACE!
It didn't hit me till the day after. My brother and sister called me because they knew how much I was a fan of his as a child and how I had him plastered all over my walls in my youth. What a remarkable and talented entertainer. He went through some horrible times and who am I to judge, only he knows the truth. With that said, RIP MJ. You will never be forgotten.
It is amazing to me how some people can be so inconsiderate at other peoples misfortune. Michael Jackson was a phenominal entertainer. There's not one person that can deny that. His performances and and music will go on forever. I think we should focus on the highlites of his life. He went through misery in life. Let him rest in peace.
I never thought in my wildest imagination that of all in the Jackson family, Michael Jackson would be the first to go. Michael you created great music and left a great legacy for many generations to come. They say a man is not judged by his works on earth, but how his works on earth are used by the next generation. I believe you will be judge well! Rest In Peace Michael Jackson!
This is part of a song that Don McLean wrote about Vincent Van Gogh, artist, genius. This same song reminds me of Michael Jackson, artist, genius. ..."Now I understand what you tried to say to me, how you suffered for your sanity, how you tried to set them free, they would not listen, they did not know how, perhaps they'll listen now. For they could not love you, but still your love was true, and when no hope was left inside on that starry, starry night, you took your life as lovers often do, but I could've told you, Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you...". Don McLean
MJ is the G.O.A.T and will be missed by the entire world. It's a shame that people are posting such negative comments. Pay attention you idiots...he was acquitted..proven innocent in a court of law. Your comments just shows how ignorant you are and how much faith you have in the system. Why are'nt you bashing the parents who let their kids go to his house? He was setup and the kids were probably told to lie......a get rich scheme. Michael's music and his legacy are undeniable. Show some respect!!. You are missed and will forever be missed Michael. God bless your soul and may he comfort your kids, family and friends.
there re no words to describe the tate of shock the naton is in at you passing. the world has lost one of e greatest singers/dancers ever. the tears are being shed, the memories are being discussed and questions are left unanswered. it's between you & GOD now, only HE knows why he chose to take you from us. i wll see you again ome day until that da comes R.I.P. our beloved Michael.
Michael Jackson you will be missed dearly. But the memories and especially your music will live on in hearts and minds of your fans forever. Your fans will always love you. God bless you michael. And may you rest in peace.
I truly believe that at one point or another in most peoples lives Michael Jacksons music was part of the soundtrack to their lives. Michael lived his WHOLE life in the spotlight and was forever under everyones scrutiny on the way he lived his life. I always felt that it was not for me or you to judge Michael by his actions but for God to make that judgement. Michael had a lost
For the family in your time of grief. 1 Thess. 4:13. John 11:13 and 2 Sam. 1:11 and 12. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
Not to take away from Micheal Jackson he was a music genous however ... I was surfer the tv for something to watch and I finally saw something for Farrah Fawcett about her story on MSNBC and I clicked on it to watch and it's about Micheal Jackson AGAIN! This woman suffered tremendously and what MSNBC just did sucks and is very rude for a woman who suffered tremendous with cancer ... when does she get her moment in the spotlight?
hello i am from surinam and yes loved michael ,and will never forgett him , nobody is perfect every one has something bad in him ,but lett us seek the good and leave the bad behind ,michael is gone but what he left behind is must more respect to all his friends and family ,
Michael Jackson will be truly missed! His contribution to music and pop culture are unmatched by anyone. Sometimes you don't really how much you miss something until it is gone. That is the way I feel about the death of Michael Jackson. Anyone who knows me knows that he was by far my favorite singer. You could have asked me that question a week ago and my answer would have been the same, Michael Jackson! Rest in peace! You have definitely danced on the highway to heaven.
MIKE RIP
Michael, I think the world was a better place for having you in it. You did so much good for so many people. I am saddened in ways I cannot even explain at your passing. I am angry at all the people tearing you down during this tragic time. Today the world is a much emptier place without you in it. God speed, Friend.
There is no God in MJ's life, only Allah as he was with the Nation of Islam. Do people not know this?
I am sorry but I am tired of hearing about Michael Jackson! He had some good songs but he did not live a very honerable life! There are other things that are more important than his drug addicted child molesting pastic surgury life!!! So please let him rest in pease so we can all move on and stop showing people it is ok to do those things!!
MJ was a great person with a great heart, even though many people never met him, he touched everyones heart. He had a life in the meida that tore him down. But the media has a way of building you up before it does that. He did not live in peace and people wont let him rest in peace. This should be a private moment for his family and that should be respected. Always loved and never forgotten. MJ fan forever!!!!!
Don't get me wrong but I did like his music. HOWEVER, it cracks me up to see how supportive everyone is NOW and boo hooing. Where was all this support when he was ALIVE and needed it most when he was accused of child misconduct. I think most of you are hypocrites and just riding the band wagon. He needed someone to have his back and the world turned on him.
I find it very sad that people never gave Micheal a chance. A little boy in a man's body, shy, insecure, on stage was his only outlet. Human cruelty toward a fantastic entertainer, a person who could not deal with life, a boy who's only friends were other boys, no more. Ignorance is all I can say to the accusers, the gossipers, the instigaters, the head hunters of a human soul...all I can say is if this is you, "Your day will surely come".
I never cried for any "stars" or "famous" people but "Michael"...you really touched my heart. I grew up listening to his music and was crazy for Michael...I had his posters on my wall growing up and he was part of me growing up. "Michael they will never be anyone like you". "You will be greatly missed" And, for the people who are judging him and saying things about Michael...I have one "Question" for you...where you there to witness ? or you just like the people who crucified Jesus...they knew "Jesus" hasn't done anything but they went along with the others and they all shouted "crucife him"...you are one of those people.Leave Michael alone. Let him rest in peace. You didn't give him peace when he was alive, now at least "Please let him rest in peace". My condolences to his family and his chidlren, especially to his mom...because it's not easy for a mom to lose her child. "Michael Rest in Peace, and I will always remember you in my heart. With lots of love.
You don't do chest compressions when a person has a pulse and a doctor would know that. The lawyer is mistaken. Sounds like the start of another cover up.....
He was a major talent. No one else will ever be as great an entertainer as Michael. His music will live on forever.
To the Jackson family My Thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow, but know that we will miss Michael dearly he is in a better place. It is such a shame it took death for Michael to get the recognition he deserved. I hope that the love that is expressed on this site helps you dismiss the negitive things posted. RIP Michael we will continue to listen and love you!
"I'll Be There", "Man In The Mirror", "Billy Jean" are just a few of my favorites. What a phenomenal genius you were Michael. I loved your spirit and your music. I was so happy to attend one of your concerts. It was awesome...I wore my white glove. The day after I heard of your death I wore it again in memory. I loved you from the moment you hit the scene as a child star. You will never be forgotten. I will cherish my Thriller LP album for many years to come. I am in my late fifties, and into my eighties God willing, I will still be jamming to your music. May you rest in peace.
Even though Michael was an astoundingly talented celebrity that was worshipped and immitated by millions, it is too often forgotten that he was simply a human being. In a world where negativity reigns, it is a shame that everyone could not love the way that Michael loved. I have never known anyone to dispute his God given talents and I believe that will be his Legacy. His kind and loving nature will be missed by billions and I hope his Mother,Father Brothers,Sisters and children take comfort in knowing that kids everywhere are still practicing the moonwalk. I will never forget watching the Thriller Video for the first time at a dance at a small County School when I was in the 7th grade. Great music like his supplied memories that will last throughout my lifetime. Thank You Michael!!!
Good Bye Michael Jackson, rest in peace and may you find the peace in heaven that so many did not give you here on earth. I pray your soul is at rest and you find eternal happiness. Your music & dancing will never be duplicated, because you were truly the King of Pop! My heart aches for your sudden passing and the tears just won't stop. I had forgotten I video taped your 30th anniversary special that aired on TV 20 years ago, I have watched it twice this weekend and each time have shed tears seeing the amazing performer that you were and knowing we have lost a sepcial man with an amazing loving caring soul, who gave us so much. You were generous beyond what most would be, I had forgotten until I was reminded in a newspaper article that you had donated your 1.5 million settlement from Pepsico for the incident filming their comnmercial for Pepsi to a Burn treatment center. I hope you left us knowing how much you were loved. I now pray for your children and your family. Your passing has left a place in this world that cannot be filled.
From what I've read and heard about Michael Jackson, he was abused as a child and dealt with many psychological troubles throughout his life. I think these troubles contributed to his early death. One thing that fans might do to remember him is to contribute to charities that help children who suffer emotional and physical abuse. If someone had intervened when Michael was younger, he might have had a happier and more fulfilling life. Although I am not a big pop music fan, even I have to admit that he was an incredible performer, and his music 25 or 30 years later does not sound dated. My favorite song of his is "Man In the Mirror." He was a flawed person, but I think deep down he wanted to do the right thing.
OMG I CAN"T BELEIVE HE DIED!!! HE DIED BEFORE HIS DAD! I CAN"T BELEVE IT!!!
I find it very disheartening that people never gave Micheal a chance. A little boy in a man's body, shy, insecure, on stage was his only outlet. Human cruelty toward a fantastic entertainer, a person who could not deal with life, a boy who's only friends were other boys, no more. Ignorance is all I can say to the accusers, the gossipers, the instigators, the head hunters of a human soul...all I can say is if this is you, "Your day will surely come".
Wow! I'm saddened, but not surprised at the death of Michael Jackson. I shed a tear but only for the fact, that I feel he's finally, finally found peace and I'm happy for him. The Jackson 5 was the first piece of music I ever bought when I was 11 years old. I grew up watching the cartoon of the Jackson 5 and Michael was a big crush for me. In my 20's I still remember the night of the debut on MTV of the Thriller video...a club that had more than 300 people dancing, moving, talking suddenly stopped and watched in awe of this fantastic piece of art and music and when the video finished, I still remember looking around at the faces and the absolute "thrill" and "smiles" that his work had brought to so many. In my 30's & early 40's, I sadly watched the start and downward spiral of Michael Jackson and it saddened me. I always hoped he would revive himself in the eyes of his critics and that those critics and ill-wishers would finally just leave the man alone. I feel for his Children and his family who have lost a Father, a Son and a Brother....and in life, that is the role that Michael Jackson will leave the largest and most painful void...for us, his surrogate family...we will never "dance" the same. He was a talent and we will never see the likes of it again!
I believe Michael was sucked dry of his money from the very people around him. Who was looking after his fiances? I won't judge him for the bad publicity later in his life. Only God knows the truth. I will remember him as the greatest performer. Goodbye Micheal and rest in peace.
He was a genius and his music and singing could not be compared to anyone. He will be missed by billions through out the world. Rest in peace, Michael
michael jackson i cant belive your gone i have grown watching you. and i have learned all your moves. i love you and will miss you. your loved in all of our hearts
I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of Michael Jackson. I grew up with the music and so many of my memories of early adulthood are centered around music and dancing and he truly was, is and always will be (in my opinion) the KING OF POP. I remember the Victory Tour at Turner Field in Atlanta. That was the most exciting concert I have ever attended. He truly was a fantastic performer. My prayers now are for his children. I sincerely hope that their lives will be protected and that the public will be very careful about passing judgment against Michael Jackson. None of us really know what did or did not happen in years past, and we all have our own opinions. What good would come of making his children's memories all about disgraceful comments about things that may have happened, but then again may have just been the worst display of greed that anyone could have experienced, we may never know! What we do know is that these three children loved their father and he loved them. Right now they are hurting and probably don't understand everything that has happened. I hope his parents show more compassion for their grandchildren than they ever did their own children.
How do I go about getting a refund on my comeback tour tickets?

I loved Michael Jackson. His music means so much to me. I grew up listening to his music, and many of his songs bring back so many great memories of my teenage years. He was the greatest performer of all time, and he seemed like such a good person. God bless his children and family during this difficult time. He is at peace now. RIP Michael.
I am from Russia, and here we know Michael very well. He was here 2 times. I'm realy sorry that it happend, I wish that all of us remember him as a brilliant singer and a very kind man! Michael, you will never be forgotten!
I like some tophit by Michael ......he was a great singer n dancer.......We'll missed them all ..David Carradine, Ed MacMahon, Michael Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett....I hope they all enjoy play Poker in Heaven lol
He was a misunderstood man and what a talent he had. The King of Pop yes. He Changed music and music videos back in the 70's and 80's. He is an Icon in his own right and will be very much missed along with all that talent he had. God be with the Family and may he finally rest in peace. My thoughts are with all of his family members. Thanks for Michael Jackson's place on this planet. He will be sadly missed! He had a very very big heart!!!
Michael's music made people think, feel, put a mirror to everyone's face. Gave us hope we could change ourselves and our world for the better. Michael saw the pain of humanity and led the way to change it. He entertained us, put magic in our lives, and made us smile. You are missed Michael :).
Michael, it's the 2nd star to the right, straight on till morning. May you find peace there.
I grew up watching Michael Jackson grow up at the same time. He was a sweet little boy, I saw him on the Dating Game. As he grew older, I grew too, with us the same age. As my world changed, his changed. We grew into young adults at the same time and I remember being very proud of his stellar rise in music. And I loved, loved, loved his music. He has always been a part of my 50 years. Michael, you'll always be a part of my heart. I'll always be dancing to you. I pray for peace for you, your family, and your children.
You were truly an inspiration to anyone who wanted to try anything. Your music will always get everyone on their feet, and your dancing is considered a trademark. Rest in peace. Your legacy will always live on.
Wow, is all I can say. I was very shocked to here about what happened to Michael.. I still keep shacking my head and can't believe it.. I grow up with his Music and won a lot of Dance contest with his music he was the best and still will be the Bestest PoP Star here and In Heaven. Rest in peace.. King of Pop !!! God Bless you and your family at this time.. I will pray for you kids also Karen
There will never ever be a replacement for him in music. A Legend, the KIng of POP! You will remembered forever in our hearts, your legecy will live on and on! Niluka from Sri Lanka
I will always remember MJ. He was always my favorite singer even when others believed ill of him. I will always be a fan no matter what others say. Stay true to MJ he deserves to be respected for what he accomplished. I feel for the family and MJ may you rest in peace.
For all those who talk ill about him, all I can quaote from the Bible - " Let those who are without sin be the first to cast the stone". Let God be the one to judge him. As for us we believe that he was set up very well with these accusations. Niluka
You were amazing. I wish people never accused you for sleeping with children. We believe you and you won't be forgotten. Rest in peace.
Micheal may your darling soul rest in peace, you have given a legacy to the ppl in music worldwide from shore to shore irrespective of cultures and ethnic background and you have left a legacy that will not denied you of stardom RIP. The most important aspect of what is left behind is critisism and the world will come to believed that all that happened in your life and what you have gone through helon earth where accusations, hypocrital talks, and bias innoviations.RIP IN PEACE and may your family be proud of you.
Michael you are a true hero for music famous before and after your death RIP Micheal and may God grant your family and children the hope to go on in faith. "THY PURPOSE LORD WE MAY NOT KNOW, BUT ALL IS WELL THAT DONE BY THEE" RIP MJJ
I've been watching the news stories since I woke up to the news that Michael Jackson had passed away. He's been attacked in the press and, by anyone that could bring him down, he may have had problems, but I choose not to judge. I choose to respect him for his career. His dancing, his singing, his music. My heart goes out to his children and family, they're suffering a great loss of a family member, the rest of his fans are continuing to hum his tunes in our day to day life, keeping his music alive. He'll never be forgotten, not by me.
I mourned when JFK was killed. I mourned when Robert was killed. I mourned when other great ones followed, Martin Luther,Elvis,Janis,Jimmy, and a host of others, and now after watching him grow and develope over a 40 year career i now mourn over the lose of another great one Michael Jackson.I know he will find the peace he deserves in the arms of the lord.
MICHAEL FOR ME WAS UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST EVER!!! HE WILL NOT BE REPLACED BY ANYONE. HIS MUSIC WILL LIVE ON IN MY HEART FOREVER. I STILL LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC AND PLAY IT FAMILY PARTIES,THANK YOU FOR THE 80'S MEMORIES, MICHAEL!!!
His music will live with us forever... as will the love we all have had for him throughout the years... he was ultimately the most respected, and talented genius-artist to walk the face of the earth.. from singing, to dancing, to performing...michael had it all... and now he is at rest... too young, too soon... rest in peace to the best musician ever!!!!
Michael I miss you so much. It hurts real badly. I still can't believe it. It's like he died just to spite us all.
Those of us who grew up with Michael (I'm only 7 years younger than him), feel as if we just lost a family member. Seriously. He wrote the soundtrack of my life through each phase! The past four days, I find myself lapsing into tears everytime I think that he's actually gone from this world. He loved people so much. He loved helping. I cannot find fault with that. He never harmed a child. He lived through them because of the childhood he was denied. But people who felt they could strip him of some of his wealth tried to use his greatest passion against him. And the callous people cannot understand emotional illnesses. I've chosen to ignore those people and focus on the eternal love I have in my heart for Michael. Yes, he was/is the King of Pop. I challenge anyone to come up with someone more deserving. Michael was the gold standard! I pray your soul is at peace, Michael. You gave your all to the world. I believe God is smiling!
To DrAndrew: Not to worry. Joe Jackson is not getting custody of the children. Joe and Katherine divorced many years ago. Katherine was very close to her son and will love those children as her own. Trust.
Most people are hypocties they hated him until he died suddenly they are all crying i loved michael jackson? aye flaming right its a load of crap. They are all pathetic in my opinion Another thing everyone knew how close MJ was with children...it was only going to be so long before someone decided to get money out of accusing MJ of doing indecent things. TBH i dont care if he did it i just hate the fact that his father can claim anything the phsyco abused his sons for his own flaming pleasure how he can hold his own head up i dont know! sick thats all he is totally sick. I only know three or four of MJ's songs out of them all dont stop till you get enough (Through Rush Hour) Thriller (Through Thirteen going on Thirty) im sure there is a few others but im not sure what they are... I'm not a big music person the hypocticy is pathetic though really is although there was many that stood by him only they really have a right to say anything the press was quick enough to condem him now....hes the king of pop? jesus its pathetic anything to sell papers eh? oh how sad they are! anyways im going to get going before i write all night!
to jacksen in haven and the family is that jacksen was a wonderful person and even if there is another king of pop will all will remember him as the first to be the king of pop rest in p with haven your #1 biggest fan enrique luces
Dearest Michael I grew up with you, You and I are the same age....."50" God Bless you may you rest in peace, your Music and Dance have impacted the world and placed music in my heart and soul.... RIP God has a very special place for you....... PS The person from dateline whom interviewed you was a snake....... Lots of Love, Kathleen Viviani
I love you Michael and pray that you now have peace. I believe that certain people in Michael's camp and some media had exploited an innocent man and took advantage of his child-like innocence. I do not feel that giving what you have to make children and others happy is squandering money... The man that we lost had the biggest heart and even though he was human, he was an angel of God. He did what he wanted to do and how he wanted to do it and kept his life private, and because we could not see what we wanted to see or hear what we wanted to hear from him some of the media has ridiculed him. R.I.P.
I don't think we will ever see anyone like him again Robert. Not in our lifetimes anyway. To those that aren't here to pay tribute, there's an entire internet to go play on. If you didn't care for Michael then why bother? Yes, his actions have always been different. I doubt many people could live the life he did and come out feeling "normal". From his abusive childhood to superstardom? I see people that can't handle normal, mundane day to day life in general. Michael Jackson was a truly brillant artist and I feel blessed to have enjoyed his talents. I believe he had/has a very sweet spirit and that it will carry on with him wherever he is now. I know that he is finally at peace and that is the one comforting thought that I can bring out of this. Thank you Robert for giving fans an outlet.
So many negative thoughts and posts here....it's amazing how cruel people can be but not surprising. Petty minds think petty things. People believe what they want to believe even if they are dead wrong. I agree, this was a sad day...the passing of a very talented, generous, loving human being. I read a post here about when the media was calling him names....well, the real "Wacko Jacko's" in that family were the parents, esp the father Joe Jackson. The things he did to and how he treated those children (esp his beloved baby, Michael) and his wife "letting him get away with it" is horrific. Listen to the live interviews with Michael when he was alive...he was a very sensitive, loving little boy...who eneded up a permanently damaged man from all the abuse, verbal, physical and emotional from both parents. Now his alleged "loving mother" wants to raise Michael's 3 very young, sensitive children is a very scarey prospect. She couldn't, wouldn't or didn't want to even protect her own natural children. Makes one wonder when you see the lovely huge mansion she lives in that Michael bought for her...and then you see a video of her out shopping at Target and buying 3 sleeping bags (hummmm.....how many children did Michael have? 3, I think...is this what they will be relegated to sleep in and on?).Am I the only one who finds this type of behavior odd to say the least? I think everyone sees now what Michael's father is all about....and it's all for bad and evil...all about himself (just for an example....he goes to the BET show to honor his son and he plugs his own business). He should be ashamed to even show his face in public...but that's my opinion (for better or worse). I think alot of us grew up in very dysfunctional famililes and can empathize with Michael and the rest of his siblings that were unfortunate enough to born into that family. For those who did not......they can not understand how deep that hurt is and how it permanently influences the rest of your life. So, to all Michaels family members who "really" did love him for himself....and for all of Micheals dearest and closest "real" friends and to all Michaels' fans who chose "not to judge" I extend my sincerest sympathy on your great loss. The world lost a good, loving, caring, extremely talented, compassionate, sharing person. Michael, may your soul rest in peace now. You are now wrapped in the warm embrace of unconditional love and acceptance that you did not get in this all to harsh, critical, unempatheic world we live in. Rest in peace!!!!
To His Children and other family members, and friends who trully loved him I am still numbed with disbelief of the sudden lost of Michael Jackson, It's hard to acknownledge as fact that he is gone. I feel so great of a since of lost and I have never went to a concert or any kind of contact with him. I have only seen him on TV or heard his songs. But yet he seem like family to me too. I feel such a sense of connection to my soul and his spirit and present in this world was of unbelievable Greatness. And the world can not deny him even if there are many that want to, But it is impossible. To his Children, I know you may never see this but I have such a sense of comfort in writing these words anyway. Your Father was such a Special Human Being and God Blessed him with so much talent until that talent came with a divine purpose. And sad to say the Purpose of his life has been fulfilled and although he loved his Children so endlessly, he was suffering with the worldly trials that only God can give him peace from. To Mom and Dad I think that you a fantastic job with all of your children, as for Michael the hand of God has been of him in just about every area of his life. He was Special and Unique, but God made him that way. And that's why he could not take any more of the world creulty. His Heart was broken. The evil of this world did not have the compassion to show this delicate lamb love. The world has dug many ditches for him to fall into and set many traps to get him caught up in. But I read that the ditches that is dug is reserved for the digger, and the traps set is waiting of the one who set them. That why It is said that we reap what we sow. I know its going to be hard, but do your best to keep your head up and most importantly keep looking up. And to the Sisters and Brothers. I can't begin to imagine what it is like to lose a brother, but I do know what it is like to lose someone who I love so deeply (my Mom this year). Words can not comfort right now. Only passing time force it to be a little easier, but it never stop hurting and the void is never filled. Only the comfort of knowing that he can't be hurt anymore helps. Just know that you are in my heart and my prayers and I can't help but to love all of you. You all have touched my life in a special way. And I will always be greatful to the Jackson Family. May your brother rest in peace. Much Love and Sincere Prayers Rita/Houston/Texas
Yep, still delusional....
We have to understand Michael Jackson did not have a normal childhood thanks to Joe Jackson, so he never knew what the word "NORMAL" meant. I believe all he knew was to sing his heart out.. I believe EVERYONE in Michaels life has some explaining to do to his family, friends, and most of all his fans.
I was so shock last thursday when michael.jackson die.At first i did not that he die when I was watching the news.I was saying to myself no he did not die.It seems like a nightmare to me or I was just dreaming. Now he is gone and the world lost their legacy.People always thought mj was weird but he had alot of talent like no other artist did in this 21th first century. RIP micheal I will never forget you.You are my inspiration.
The Lord definitely rested his hand on MJ's shoulder a lot longer than he did the rest of us. Michael is, was, and always will be the greatest singer/entertainer this world will ever know. I'm deeply saddened by his passing... it just doesn't make sense that we could lose someone of his talent and genius so soon. This world is worse off with Michael gone. I pray for the entire Jackson family. Now your brother will be left alone, to take his rightful place next to God. RIP Michael... you will forever be loved, and missed!
I will always love you, Michael. May God Bless your beautiful children and watch over them.
Much like Rita in Texas, I, too, have felt overwhelming sadness at the loss of Michael Jackson. I never attended a concert, either, yet his music and dancing gave me joy and happiness, and thankfully, that will live on. People are forgetting that he was a human being, and bloodsuckers on this planet should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to Michael. I find comfort in knowing that Michael Jackson is now in a better place - and at peace. Heaven is dancing and singing with him now.
I will Never forget you. I'll will remain in my heart forever and will your music. Your legacy...for generations to come. You will live on. RIP Dear Michael.
Michael, I will Never forget you. you will remain in my heart forever and so will your music... Your legacy...for generations to come. You will live on. RIP Dear Michael.
my heart goes out to his children; i wonder if Michael would be at peace to know that his children are in the same household with his father; the source of so much of Michael's emotional pain and trauma. how sad that a talent as big as Michael, who finally had happiness with his children could not live long enough to watch them grow. God Bless you Michael
Michael, sorry for all the bad press and hatred in america, the land of the cowards, bullies, fakes, and deadpans
For God's sake, keep those children away from the Jackson clan. Who do you think screwed the poor guy up to begin with? Those kids are better off with the mother. I know she "sold" her kids to Jackson, same as a surrogate by the way for anyone who wants to blast me, but Joe Jackson pimped all his kids out. I'd be afraid that the second one of Michael's children shows some talent, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson will pimp out their grandchildren. Michael's parents should be under the jail for what they did to his childhood and they shouldn't be given another chance to totally destroy his kid's lives. Get those children away, far away, from the Jacksons. They are a screwed up bunch of folks!!
Shame on you Dateline for re-airing that horrible Martin Bashir interview. It was completely tasteless! Let his family have their time and remember the good things! He was our greatest performer and humanitarian we have ever had!
I hope you've found peace Michael.God knows you desearved it.
Amen! All those heartless allegations, slander, and vicious unprovoked attacks over the years were JUST THAT... heartless 'allegations' 'slander' and 'visious unprovoked attacks' ! Michael was truly one of a kind, a once in a lifetime entertainer. An real, true and unequivical ALL around entertainer artist and philanthropist. With a passionate wonderment, awe and eternal heart and soul of a child. Always giving and forgiving with all of that heart and soul even when he was abused, betrayed, backstabbed, and heartbroken by so many around him. Always eager to please and bring joy, compassion and hope to all the world even though so many haters relentlessly contributed to his own anguish and heartache. Like a kicked & abused puppy he come right back with unconditional love for the very world that tormented him so, cruelly and relentlessly. Repeatedly taking advantage of his immeasurable generousity, heart, soul and world.. Michael words can not express the debt of love, respect, dignity and gratitude you are owed for so selflessly giving of yourself, your talent your 'old/young soul', priceless heart of gold, brilliant creative mind, talent and priceless platnum voice, and also so much of your fame and fortune. You will forever be Missed, Loved, Respected, Appreciated, Adored and Admired by so many. There will never be another entertainer or human being, that can hold a candle to your talent, creativity, and loving, caring, giving soul. May you Eternally Rest in The Endless Peace, Love, and Respect of The Promised Land, you were all too often unfairly deprived of here on earth. Moonwalking across the Heavens whenever the urge strikes. It is the ninth single taken from the album Dangerous. It peaked at #33 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1993. The song was dedicated to Ryan White, a young victim of AIDS whom Jackson befriended prior to his death. Michael performed this song at the ball for former President Bill Clinton's first inauguration on January 20, 1993, where he highlighted the importance of supporting research for a cure to this disease. BUT IT IS ALSO SO PERFECTLY THOUGH HEARTBREAKINGLY FITTING FOR MICHAEL HIMSELF.
Dear God, how will I ever live without Michael???? I just don't have the will to go on. He is the sun and moon and stars and more important than any other human being to ever walk this earth. I am certain that you have a throne placed right beside you for him to plant his royal arse on, where he belongs. Heck, just boot your son out of his. After all MJ is more significant to the world... right? Wake up you fools! He lived, he hurt kids, he died, he's gone. get over it. Yeah... I know it's harsh, but I'm over all this BS!
Michael Jackson was known globally and it was rightfully earned. He had the most pure and innocent heart, yes he was eccentric but who would not be with the press always hounding him and people who tried to make him look bad because they never understood him. This man was lied on by people who just wanted a piece of the pie or wanted to disgrace him in front of everyone and they are still doing it since his death, which is what people do to the people who are truly pure souls, good hearted, and trie to make a difference in the world. These people need to come forward and admit that they lied, afterall Michael is gone now he will not hear them admit the truth, I for one will never believe that he ever did anything like they said. Michael was an amazing performer and humanitarian; all he ever did wrong was care to much about the world. He loved kids so much because he never really got to be one and he was in awe of their playfulness and free spirits, he never got to feel the way they did. Michael was always seeking love and approval from his father and he never got it. I watched an interview where Michael said that families do not spend time together anymore, love each other unconditionally, or have meals together as a family. This was his life ambition to spread love, unity, and peace around the world and to get people to love each other because with love you have everything. Michael I wish you were not really dead and it was really a big elaborate hoax because you are so loved and you meant the world to so many around the world not to mention how you changed music for others who followed you, those who hurt you need to stand up and admit that they lied. Your talent will never be matched or surpassed; you singlehandedly broke racial barriers where no one else ever could. I love you and miss you Michael, rest in peace knowing the love and respect that is coming to you now which was long over due!! Tanya LaForce, Muncie, IN.
dear micheal i have to admit i was sad to hear of ur sudden passing. you had lots of great songs and ur life didn't have a moment of peace and serenity. i wish the media and press didn't have to always pick on you. But angels don't hold grudges and i hope the where ever you are, ur watching ur children. god bless and thanks you for the many great songs you have created for us. even though i don't think most of deserved a artist like you.
So close to 400...come on all you wackos! You can do it. Bring on your whining and your lamentations. Tell us how michael changed your life. Let us wonder how empty your life must be that mj made it better by just breathing. Yes. Send messages directly to him. He can still read. MT - hahahaha
SimpleRule... perfect comment! ... this is unreal! Not surprising, yet the idolatry is unreal!!!
If you are "over it" MTtoLA why are you wasting your time reading the blogs from people who did love and care for him. Take your negativity somewhere else cuz you must not have more importanat things to do....you need to get over it and move on, let the people who want to mourn him mourn him...what's it hurting you, turn your check don't read it.
When I heard he had died, I felt like a part of my childhood died too. Like everyone else I was disgusted by the accusations, and believed them since he "paid them off". This morning I read that the "boy" Jordan Chandler, finally confessed he lied because his dad wanted the money. How sad that his death is the only way Michael is vindicated, and that we see that anyone can ruin a person's life with a lie. My heart goes out to the kids, I hope that one day they can forgive the world's, as well as my, ignorance to the fact that we forgot that he was INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty, not assumed guilty-the end. God bless
There is only one thing left to say . . . . I AM NEDA
We have truly lost a icon, R.I.P. Micheal Jackson But what is most disturbing to me is that his 81 year old father is dressed like a 20 yr old pimp and trying to promote is new company. If it wasnt from the talent of all them boys he would of retired from the steal mill and wouldnt have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of. I understand that he aided in their success but also took so much away from them. The Jackson 5 especially Micheal would of eventually been discovered and we would of properly never had to see all the emotional and mental stress over the year's that has led to Micheal Jackson death. God Bless!
NEWS ALERT!!!!...For all you MJ fans...The MJ medical autopsy results are out. Poor MJ died from food poisoning...It was from eating 10 and 11 year old weenies!
Krista and MT, stop wasting everyone's time with your nastiness. Ange, thank you for admitting that you were mistaken. Not a lot of people do that. Michael Jackson had the gentlest and most beautiful soul, and I will sincerely pray for him. He gave the world, which turned out to be extremely unkind to him, the best music, style and dance moves that it has ever seen. "King of Pop" is an understatement. And what a humanitarian -- supported 39 charities and spoke of helping the world in so many of his songs (Heal the World, Earth Song, Man in the Mirror, etc.). Rest in peace and God bless.
Michael's spirit has left his body. His spirit is either in heaven or in hell. If you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and live for Him and obey His word - the bible , then you go to be with the Lord in heaven for ever. But if you have not acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and have not followed Him then it is in the place where God does not live - Hell. This is what the bible says. So readers do not be deceived into believing that there are many ways to God or that there is no God. Time is short. Get ready for the soon coming of Jesus Chris who will take his followers to live with him throughout eternity in heaven. And the rest of you decide while you are living here on the earth. There is no second chance.
Dear Krista, I can only guess you are young, what about 14 to about 22? Are there any singers out there that you follow and any songs that are special in your life? I don’t miss Michael I miss his songs and the fact that they are now history just like the artist. When your 40 and you realize that someone has recently died that you once enjoyed, no matter how long ago or how you feel about them – you will miss them. Not so much for the person but the meaning. It is not just the case of realizing you’re getting older, but friends, entertainers, family, start passing away and your life changes. It is the change in life that people morn. We have not seen him moonwalk in many years but now there is no chance of seeing it again and we all are feeling a little older because of it. Krista, think before you reply to this in a smart, rude tone, because it will be you in a couple of decades.
As I review Michael's behavior, I wonder if he suffered from bipolar disorder? He struggled with sleeplessnes, grandiosity, difficulty distinguishing reality from fact, inappropriate sexual issues, and was wildly charismatic and creative before allegations that he slept with young boys emerged. I wonder if he could have been helped with the right medication, instead of the bagfuls of medications he apparently took to try to sleep.
Michael, you are and will always be the greatest. I and so many others in this world will miss you terribly. I am so sorry that you were so misunderstood. There are people who just can’t accept the truth; the truth about you is that you were the sweetest man, and had the purest heart. It saddens me so much to see that there are people that rather accuse you of the things that just never happened. It saddens me to know that some people will always believe what they want to believe, and have no appreciation of the truth. It must have been so so hurtful for you to be misunderstood. Michael, we love you, and I know that you kind spirit will always be here with us. I also hope that God will give courage to your children, so that they can go through this tragedy. It hurts me so bad to see them without you in their lives, but I am sure your spirit will always be with them. We miss you, and love you, always. God bless your soul.
Never cried sooo much before about a celebrity. It's just that it touches me personally. You're music defines the moments and memories of my early years. I hear a song and remember this and that. Wow. You did it Michael Jackson. You never grew old. You didn't ask to live forever as I mistakenly thought sometimes. Peter Pan will stay young forever. HE will live forever in our hearts and minds. Oh Michael Jackson you worked soo hard to give us as much of you as you could before you would go. Now we press PLAY. We will always press PLAY. No matter the spin that the media takes in reference to you, I was able to see with my own eyes the gentle and kind loving man you were. You did well, you have run the course and now you get your rest. Enjoy it Michael you have worked enough. Make you be granted peaceful rest and your kids and family always hold close the sweet soul they were in contact with. Never can say goodbye is right, so... we press PLAY.
yes,hes gone.idolizing dead celebrities??? wrong. ill bet none of you can name 5 names of people killed for your freedoms since the iraqi war began. thats the real news.not this trash.
When Farrah died, god asked her what she'd like as a reward for a good life. She said she just wanted all the little children in the world to be safe. And POOF! Michael Jackson died.
How very sad for so very many. Give credit where credit is due and give forgiveness to those who are forgiving. Peace of mind is really all there is, if you think about it. I hope Michael's children will find that in the future. I hope we all do. Carole Seattle WA
Why is no one questioning this Dr. Murray??? How is it possible that 911 was not called for 20-30 minutes!!! 911 can get a location off a cell phone!!! You can't tell me he didn't at least know the street name!!! The house looked pretty describible to me from that point.. Why was Michael STILL on the bed 20 minutes after being found??? I never heard the doctor say anything about breathing for him either... I found the doctors details of the account VERY suspisious...
I'm not about to take life advice from crackpots that cry over celebrities. But thanks, your off-base ASSumptions gave me a laugh. And there are many, many talented artists and musicians still alive in this world. But no one is so great that they deserve undying adulation.
Michael was the true PeterPan.May he soar over Neverland and come to rest in the presents of the Lord.God Bless keep and watch over theJackson children and family. To Michaels mother hes ok now you know that.Theirs no one that can bother him now.I pray for your strength & your familys strength threw this time of loss.love to you always yvonne.
Reading most of these comments makes me feel good about Michael and the wonderful performer, entertainer and humanitarian he was. He was exceptional. But for some of the other comments, I am saddened that anybody would look for the bad. Celebrate what good has come out of his life and how he managed to lift the awareness of the human condition of so many people to so many people. I just read that a congressman feels homage should not be paid to Michael because he basically, doesn't deserve it. He had his day in court, let him be. If a loved one of any of these people with the negative comments were to pass, I'm quite sure they would remember the good they did rather than the bad. To all Michael Jackson fans...you are all loved. To Michael...we love you! Always, rest in peace.
Michael was the best!! He will never be replaced. I will miss him dearly. My heart is broken and it is very hard to say goodbye. I have believed in him my entire life. There will never be another. Tomorrow is going to be a very difficult day, I only wish I could have won the tickets to bet there. And those of you who won them just to sell them should be so ashamed of yourselves. There are true fans out there who truly deserved to be there.
He wore the white socks with black pants and shoes and made it look unbelievably badass. He created his own style of dress that nobody could mimic or put a spin on to create another style.
Michael, was a true performer and singer. His songs will forever be on all our lips. Heaven is rejoicing to have you and may your soul rest in peace. You are safe in the lords hands. May your loving children have the faith and tremendous courage to face what is yet to come their way. They will certainly miss you. I pray for all family members and especially for your beautiful children that Lord will give them all the strength to live on and to celebrate your Life. Michael will forever be missed in the world!!! God bless
I have really come to realize that how much I liked you. I have been listening to your music since I was a little girl. My sister and I would replay "Beat It" over and over again and your birthday was actually the same as my brother, August 29. I don't want to accept the fact that you were gone. I have been watching your fantastic concerts, your beautiful songs and your amazing moves every night since the day you were gone. I wish there were no 6/25/09 on the calendar. Each move of your body just amazes me so much. I couldn't help crying every time when I see you on my TV. I am still very emotion when I think about you. I wanted to fly down to Never land, to have to first meet with you. But too sad, that the first meet would be the last meet.... Michael, you were the only star, who inspired me so much. I have been in love with you and your music for so many years. You were the only one and will be the only one and there are no one in this entire world will replace you or even come close to you. My dearest long time idle, Michael Jackson, may you now live in peace. Your smile, your dance, your words will live with me for the rest of my life.... I love you.
Everyone wear a mask tomorrow for Michael Jackson!!!!! They ridiculed him for wearing it, lets wear it too and stand with him.

The whole world stopped when this man's heart quit beating.... You will live on in our hearts and your body of work in where a part of your spirit dwells. My thoughts and prayers are with your close personal friends, and both of your former wife's and all of your family. Look and think, if we are feeling this much loss, and effect at the loss of this man, imagine what they are thinking and feeling. Bless your children. Thank you for all you gave to us, ... your all. I hope you see how much we all love you.
Michael Jackson could have been a great star without changing drastically his physical appearance. He had a mental problem. Money is the root of all evils. God is not to be mocked. I hope the others put their act together and focus less on money and more on being human.
We will always LOVE YOU! You are the best! Go home Michael...., Go home!
Michael, Michael, Michael. We wouldn't let you live and now we won't let you die. Regardless, I pray that you are now in peace, that you so much deserve, and have begun your transition to eternal life where all spirits are one. Love and God Bless. Sissy, North Wales, PA.
I am a bit grief weary to do any real discussing, but I shall always remember fondly with great love and thankfulness to this little boy - young man who lit up the world with his beautiful music and jaw dropping performances and purity of heart. Indeed; with, through and in Michael, We Were The World! May the family find the peace that surpasses all understanding and Michael, may you now find the love and serenity you so longed for. RIP dear one. We will miss you.
RIP. I truely hope he is happy and sees now after all the grief he experienced on earth how much he meant to many people. MJ was my very first musical idol I obsessed over at a younger age. Then as I started getting older I started to hide my love for his work because of the jokes that I didn't really understand at a younger age that both kids and adults would make about him. I had never once cracked an MJ joke because I always had a respect for him. And now he's gone and hopefully there is an afterlife and he is looking down on us. You should never take anyone for granted. You never know how long their time or your own time on earth will be.
What a sad time for the Jacksons family my thoughts and payers are with you espicially today when you have to say your final goodbye to Michael. I cannot begin to imagine the pain your family is going though. I know you beleive in the Great Creator and he is going to help you through the rough time. To Michael Mom and Kids he will be with you always. Keep the faith and stay strong continue being that close family donot let go of family Prayers with you,
Rest in peace...you will be missed...we will never forget you...we love you!!!!!!!!!!!R.I.P.
Michael, I believe that you have left us to take Farrah Fawcett to Heaven. We will miss you both for all the entertainment you have bought everyone. You will be forever young and your music will live on. The King of Pop!!
Im sorry but everyone is idolizing Michael Jackson like he is GOD. In the eyes of GOD Michael Jackson is just another human. So he died so what get over it many people die around the world everyday that should just make people see that no one is immortal. All the famous Artist and professnial players that are at his memorial are saying because of Michael Jackson I became this and that, no they didnt its all Gods work Michael is a nobody. SORRY

Not 'we,' Marlie. You. Certainly not I. Michael, thanks for Off The Wall, and thanks for Thriller, but I'm still glad you're dead.
MJ was a talented boy who became a very self centered man. His very best songs were recorded when his career was just beginning...Before the drugs and self distructive behaviors. Get real. He was an old has-been that left us in disgrace. All the words praising him can not change the truth about the choices that he made. What a waste of talent. He was not the victim!
I was in my late teens when Michael started his career, however, I have been a loyal fan of all his music. I especially pay attention to the words and understand Michael is (was) trying to make a difference in the world with words from, "Beat it", "We Are the World", "human nature", and "Gone to Soon", as well as others. An along with these words came the incredible musis and perfectionist dances of Michael. We will miss him, however, he will live in our hearts forever. Aurie
My heart goes out to the Jackson family; especially his three children. I truly hope Prince, Paris, and Blanket will always remember how much their father charished them. I believe they will benefit from his love. LYnda
I was an adult when Micheal Jackson was on top, yes his music was okay, but other people in the music business had a bigger impact on my life and they did not have to be so out there and weird...... On the other hand, Micheal can finally rest in peace, now there will be know more cameras in his face and in his life, he is finally at peace. May God Bless him.
A true Angel who made his maker very proud. His music was a true gift. I listened to it before he became phenomenally famous, I listened to it during his infamous trial and I am still listening to it now and it still continues to fill me with a sense of joy and excitement like when I was a kid growing up in the 80's. I always thought of him as a kind and sensitive soul, very different from the rest of us. I also believed in my heart that there was no way he sexually molested any of those kids. I believe that he related to them like a kid himself. He acted goofy and child like with them and that offended narrow minded grown ups. Enters Martin Bashir, BBC reporter who totally contorted and perverted the facts just so that he could further his career by destroying an innocent man's and assasinating his character. Martin Bashir to see you reporting today pretending you were sad and moved, I thought you were a pig and you made me want to puke in your face. Anyways, Michael thank you for your music and for donating so very generously to all those charities. You did very well and God has a special place for you.Until then, rest in peace!.
Micheal Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and all the stars that died before there time will be missed by each generation that grew up with them, I grew up watching and loving Farrah Fawcett I will truley miss her with all my heart she was a very very special women, strong, beautiful and most of all she knew who was important, of she said "my fans" are who I am.
What a way for Msnbc to cover the memorial by saying "Brooke Shields was the only one to humanize him" what a load of crap! He was Human! And I guess they didn't hear others tell moving stories of their life with him. This country sure has a long way to go with race relations! R.I.P. Michael we did have you and we will always, always love you.
As a young girl in the 80ies My life was very much impacked by Michel's musik. For me and my mates he was an icone! We all are blessed to have lived in his life time and have to be thankful..Rest in piece dear Michel and be sure: we in Bulgaria will not forget you, never! Millions of thanks for your grate and soul touching musik and love!

Only a pure heart can be given so much encompassed in one individual by the almighty...the world that makes you takes you...would you have been an anonymous guy happiness you would have found but God's work on earth would request us to be public and face the fatality of glory...JEALOUSY...Now that you've found love (in that lord) what are you going to do now! Stay in our hearts Mr Michael!
michel to me is sutch a deep person he has ben an einspration of mine. my dreem is to work in a orpenige to let children know they are loved. the song WE ARE THE WORLD is the most amazing song in my mind.thisis to michel and his family.the wate of the world on your shoulders. you were victom of your own sucses ,yet you strove to do you best.you where haunted by the childhood you never had,but still you were the best at what you did.you may haved faced scandil, but it was because you cared deeply.I may have not known you or your familypersonly but whati know about you is you tried to give young children a peridice so many less fortunet woul have hope in ther harts hope in ter life. I have to wonder if MJ's innocence was what got him into the most trouble, I believe he saw things from a different perspective and the isolation made it worse, along with others quest for opportunity that put him in a position to lose so much. He was a spactacular talent with a tortured soul that just couldn't seem to get past his upbringing I believe the world was a better place for his having shared all that he did, even if it cost him his life in the end. We will miss you Michael, may you dance and sing among the angels.
we loved hou for your music and dance we hated your for what we thought you did wrong. We put you on a pedestal but you were like all of us doing right and wrong. We forgot you were a son, brother, father a man....RIP
MJ WAS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME! HE DID MORE FOR HUMANITY IN THIS WORLD THAN ANY ONE PERSON HAS DONE IN MODERN HISTORY.
Michael, You will be forever loved and missed, but only for a short while as our paths will cross again in Heaven. To the entire Jackson Family and his three children: My prayers are with you and no matter what bad things are said or have been said about Michael just know that some people love misery. People won't be able to hurt him anymore and they cannot take away your love for Michael or God's love for him. Remember how much Michael loved you all and I pray that the children remain with Mrs Jackson. I send you love and prayers. May God continue to love and bless you!!
What is Life? Life is the moment you have to live, love, laugh, and cry. In that moment of time, there are plenty to be done. Good or bad. Those are the two out of the three major signs in life. you want to perish that precious moment: you do bad. You want to cherish that precious moment: you do good. And at the end, you will face the last sign, which is the: stop sign. Michael Jackson has done Great things in his life, and has reached the stop sign that we all, will reach one day. So, let us honestly, and positively honor him, live life, love one another, laugh with each other, not at each other. and in the end, there will be still a cry, the cry of joy.
A couple silk posters hung on my wall of Michael Jackson.I have an album, that I baught through Columbia House, with a photo of him on side 1 and another on side 2. It is still in the box from Columbia House. His music was inspiring and was heart felt. One of my favorites was "black or white". He is right. It doesn't matter what color or race you are. We are all equal. We are all family, and family stick together. I hope that there is no fighting of who gets what. Everything belongs to his children. I just hope that they are well taken care of and arn't just a way to any money. They are his future and deserve the best that life has to offer them. They are hurting by their father's death, they should not hurt by Michael's family or anyone else by trying to put a claim on them. They are not packages, they are wonderful children. Let them mourn, and hope they are helped in the mourning stage. Let us not bring up old bad talk of Michael for his children to hear, but only good, for that is how he should be remembered by his kids and all of us. Speak of all the good music he brought into our lives, and videos and dance moves he poured into our eyes. No one was or ever will be like Michael Jackson. May he rest peacefully while we mourn his death and celebrate his life. May his family, and most of all, his children, also find peace and only remember the good he brought into their lives. The love he showed through his smile. God bless this man as he comes back home. To the upstairs house of angels. You will be missed, but proud of the man who had to leave us so soon. Until we meet in the sky, this is good-bye...:)
Michael, I wish you would be able to hear or see the effects your death had made on people, people like me. I could not hold back tears coming from my eyes. when I first heard your songs, I was still in my country. People in my country used to, and still do love your songs. Even when they had so little to eat or nothing at all, that didn't stop them from dancing to the beat of your musics. We miss you Michael. Rest in peace.
the memorial was beautiful! i cried through the whole thing! Rest In peace Michael! "theres nothing that cant be done if we raise our voice as one"
An old fan who asks forgiveness, As a young man i was very happy in my soul to hear him belt out tunes with his brothers. The music he gave us truly was and is a blessing from the father. As i became older and more impressionable and cynical, I was one who judged.Over the last week I was once again reminded of the pure and innocent way he expressed his love. And of all the good he did publicly and privately. And it was like the holy spirit reminding me of those innocent times in my youth when life was still free of pessimism and fear and bigotry. The memories of him singing brought me joy and happiness all over again. I could not help but shed tears for Michael when his daughter cried for her father. How could I have been fooled to even consider that Michael's love was anything but genuine. I am sorry to ever have judged you, and i ask that you forgive me from heaven. I am very happy to hear my 4 yr old daughter sing Rockin Robin. I only wish you were hear to sing for her. But i promise she will know your music.
Michael Jackson is truly a legend. I grew up with his song as part of my entertainment life. His music grew from better to the best. It flowed with the times. He was an articulate entertainer. Everybody loved Michael Jackson. Despite the negative publicity, he was awesome
He is gone but will never be forgotten. 1958 was a very good year! The year a star was born!
you black then white. i loved, now can't relate. your'e still the king of pop ,you will be missed but i feel sorry for the kids that think they know what a normal family should be like. because i feel you weren't loved as a child and got the securety of love that a child needed, and you reached on as an adult to get what you lacked growing up, to make you different and stand out to the population to get the balance of what normal should be. you were prabably the black sheep and turned white, because what ever you did it din't matter..........even though the color and you still weren't happy but now you will be, you won't be judged your'e home now, love you no matter what... your'e human as we all are... a big fan always
I grew up with you Michael. We were born in the same year, two months apart. I saw the jackson Five on the Ed Sullivan Show. I loved you guys. May God hold you his hands with love me
Negative drama and money grubbers surrounded his life for a little while, and he overcame it all. He was a loving father and great performer. Thank God for the resurection! Until we meet again...
Michael you were not a threat to anyone. You were just so pure that you didnt think twice about accusations. I know, when you are forced to grow up too quick. You want to give back to the young and innocent what was taken from you. Your childhood is so precious. To live your dreams, to love people without barriers! That is an angel on earth. If only everybody was more like you Michael, the world would be a better place. I wish I could have been your close friend to let you know I saw your beautiful soul. Until we meet in heaven, I have your back! "To love to be loved is human, but to love for the sake of loving is angelic." You will be greatly missed.
Sadly missed by all. You got into all of our hearts with the kindness that you spread all around the world and the joy you gave us with your music and dance. We all hurt inside and will feel a piece of us has died along with you. Peace to all.
Dear Lord Jesus, I viewed the most amazing and beautiful goodbye to Michael Jackson today. Glued to the TV for hours. I just am so certain in my heart about Michael being a beautiful soul yet why do I have doubt that he may have molested a boy. So, it makes me uncomfortable with my certainty to Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, which I truly believe this about him, that he was the King of Pop. I know what it is, Lord, to have an addiction and I know what he went through, personally, so I never would've held that against him. People that hurt deeply usually turn to something like drugs, alcohol and other things because it helps numb the pain. Lord, I know you are a loving, forgiving, all powerful Lord, whose spirit is alive here on this Earth today so I know you would have forgiven Michael if he did do that to the boy. But if he truly didn't do that, reveal the truth, if need necessary, so people like me who are still confused and loving Michael full heartly, would have some closure to that incident. Lord, help his children and family and also I want to attest to people that you are an all forgiving God, no matter what we all have done, only you can judge. If we truly repent in our hearts, you are there to forgive and put us on a fresh path. Amen and God bless everyone.
I am aqnd always was a true believer in MJ i never believed anything that was said about him and i defended him always, anyone that every brought up the subject of Michael around me will tell you i always said dont say anything bad about him around me. and it is today that it really sunk in that michael was gone and just lkie my daughter that turned 8 today said i still have at least 2% benial left in my head.... Rest In Perfect Peace Micheal Jackson The Forever King Of Pop.
I was about 15 when myself and 3 of friends turned the lights off in the livingroom and hunkerd down for the premiere of "Thriller" they were great times. Michael was in a league of unsupassed by none.
I am the same age as Michael and have been a fan since their first appearance on National TV in the 60's. I grew up in the South where racial divide was still so strong but it didn't stop my admiration for The Jackson Five, watching them perform, mimicking their moves and singing right along with them... I have gone through so many emotions since his passing, first shock and disbelief; then numbness and sorrow and then yesterday's service... It was filled with sorrow, joy, laughter and tears. I watched every minute. His children are beautiful legacies and yes, they are HIS CHILDREN. He has raised them since the day they were born. I personally was adopted as a small child and my biological mom had no rights to come back later to try and claim me, just like their "mom" has no right to try and do it. She gave up all rights to them the day the agreement was made and the system should protect the children. Shame on anyone that says otherwise... I remember they came to Columbia, SC when I was young but I couldn't go, wanted to so badly. School was starting in about two weeks and my mother took me shopping for clothes the day of the concert. I can still hear the little girls screaming when we all realized that Katherine had brought her sons to the same store to buy clothes for them too. I can say that is a memory I always held dear to my heart, the Jackson Five standing not two feet from me... I always wanted to see him or any of the Jackson's in concert, their talent is immeasurable but never could afford it. But I still have all of Michael's albums and Janet's too. I have a 14-year old son that I had recently shown him the Thriller video and so I had introduced a new fan of Michael's. Thank you to the Jackson Family and AEG for such a moving and respectful memorial that he so deserved. And, yes, hopefully the tabloids and everyone will leave him alone now. I never believed any of the things everyone said about him. To see the true soul and heart of someone, all you have to do is look in their eyes. Michael had the soul and heart of an angel, would never hurt anyone. We have lost our angel here but he is now an angel to watch over us and smile down to guide us in our future path. I am heartbroken, but he is teaching the angels how to do the Moonwalk now. My prayers and condolences go out to the entire Jackson family... I along with all the fans of the world share in your grief... Theresa Belton, SC
We have all learned many things from Michael, how to live and how to love; how to give and how to help... In my heart, not only was Michael the King of Pop, the Greatest Entertainer in the world, and one of the world's greatest humanitarians, Michael will always be My Greatest Hero! Forever in my heart, I love you and will miss you so much!
MJ was a great spirit.I don't care how he looked or what he was accused of. He helped so many and in return there are always vultures waiting to cash in on something. I gets sick when people judge. I never walked his glory and I never walked in his sorrow. I will always remember being glued to the television with my 4 and 2 year old kids watching them mimick him and asking me why they weren't born colored. I always wanted my chidren to respect and never judge or comment negitively on any race. MJ helped me do just that. I am just broken hearted by his passing. Rest in the arm of our Lord.
Why do the death of movie stars and musicians always get so overblown?
I'm still so sad he's gone. I was horrified with the attacks on him in 1993 and again in 2003. After he was acquited in 2005, I waited to see what was going to come next from him! Would he get back into performing? That kind of wondering, you know? Several months ago I read about his This Is It concerts he was preparing for and I was so happy to read that. Finally, he was going to surface again and treat the world with his awesome talent. Next, we learn he's died. Now we'll never see what was going to come next. Just like that...he's gone. Odd thing is I didn't cry about it until I watched his memorial. My tears began when I watched the hearse carrying his casket drive to the Staples Center. That made it real for me. I'm 50 and grew up with his music. I had hoped 'we'd grow old together'. It's just too sad. I feel so sorry for his children and his two older children are at an age where his death will affect them for the rest of their lives. Wow. Unreal.
you know wha, i loved michael jackson and you know alot of people loved him just as much but, Yet I Still have such resorvation about his farther and all the adult that sat by for the love of money and let that man Joesph Jackson destroy the spirit of his children which ultimately cause them to live in a dark cacoon of music. Yes we appreciate their contribution and yes they are brilliantly talented but his mear present and how they became famous makes me vomit. This only make you question americans foundation of capitalism and what we will over look for the love of money and fame...Every thing i am is my experience which is the same for most.. Drugs is the ultimate escape no person should need that much of an exscape with the cause being there parents greed.
Micheal is gone but his memory lives on in all of us who know him personally and who made hin a household name.I believe that God had another job for him that must have been very important to be called away so soon.I like othere will treasure his memory in our hearts. We will pray the the world will not be as hersh on his children and he will live on through them.Susan.Trinidad and Tobago
Michael you were a victim twice over. The media never gave you a break. They even made your skin disease to look as if it was something wierd. They twisted and distorted everything they could and found some lies of their own. Amidst all this, you managed to give out the most fabulous music. I thank you. People who are capable of seeing and understanding your innocence and purity know that you never did any of the things you were accused of. You and your family do not have to bother with the rest. I know you are resting in Peace. Thank you Michael.
LOVE MJ FOREVER A CHINESE GIRL
I see why he didn't like his orginal nose.
We were lucky to live to be the generation to have met, see and grow with Michael Jackson. As all geniuses we could not understand him. It is a pity he did not get to feel the love we all had for him. LONG LIVE THE KING OF POP! He, through his songs, will live forever with us.
MJ sang the music of my life, he being the same age as my sister and passing in the same way, I am forever touched, hopefully your music can write your legacy, you are a wonder, sot to be "figured out" but to be appreciated and enjoyed, thank you
no matter how hard you try you still can't beat the 700+ comments from the artist rendition of space junk!
Michael...Dear Michael...you have left an indelible mark on so many. Your music...your dance...your voice...your smile...your kindness...your spirit. Every song that you wrote...Every song that you sang...was above all. Your genius is irreplaceable. My biggest question is why did you let go of my hand...our hands. You were supposed to hold on and not let go. You were a treasured gift and your passing have certainly left me with heavy heart of sadness. I shed sad tears for you and I continue to mourn. Thank you Dear Michael...I miss you...and will continue to miss you always. As you said "never can say goodbye" You will always be in my heart.
As I watch the onslaught of MJ's original videos and now tribute shows, I find it amazing how many events and periods of my life come vividly back with each diffrent song and video. He truly was entertainment incarnate from his songs to his dance perfection. A tragic end for a talent among talents and no doubt the most deepy troubled of them all. Hope you have found the peace you have been looking for.
The Bush daughters said it correctly to the Obama girls and we should relate it to the Jackson children. NO MATTER WHAT THE PRESS WRITES OR SHOWS, AND NO MATTER WHAT THE TABLOIDS PRINT, AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE IS STILL THE DADDY OF THESE 3 BEAUTIFUL KIDS AND IT SHOULD BE RESPTECTED AS SUCH. I'm almost sure that the Jackson family audits everything the children watch on TV but what if the wrong image was shown, what if the wrong words were said? WOULD YOU AS THE MEDIA IN GENERAL LIKE TO SEE YOUR DAD SMEARED LIKE YOU'RE DOING TO THEIR DAD? YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.
Michael, I grew up on you. I will never forget when the J5's came on Ed Sullivan show came on. Our relationship was so special to me, because we are the 3 months apart. I loved you from the beginning. I am still grieving. You will always, and I say truely always be in my heart. Love you for life. Peace is yours forever.
I love you Mike. We are special, were three months apart. You will always be with me and I will always have a place in my heart for you. Love you MJ. Peace is yours forever.....
THIS EVENT OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S PASSING HAS MADE A HUGE IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE.PERSONALLY I'M JUST REALLY BEGINNING TO GRIEVE HIS ABSCENCE, ITS AMAZING HOW I REMEMBER MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS WHEN KIDS WOULD EMULATE HIM BY WEARING HIS JACKET AND THE PENNY LOAFERS WIITH HIGH RISE BLACK PANTS AND WHITE SOCKS (SPORTING IT IN THE HALLWAYS), JERRY CURLS AND ALL. I MISS MJ BECAUSE HE WAS THERE AS I GREW UP MAKING AN IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF MANY, I MISS HIM BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE NOW IS THE MEMORIES OF WHEN HE WAS, AND HOW PEOPLE VIEWED HIS PERSONAL STRUGGLES AS WEIRD AND NOW WE MOURN HIM, FOR HOW LONG? I DONT KNOW BUT IT SURE FEELS LIKE WE MISSED OUT ON SOMETHING THAT WE CANNOT RETRIEVE, NOT EVEN BY BUYING HIS ALBUMS WE HAVE LOST HIM FOREVER, GOD TOOK HIM BACK BECAUSE MAYBE WE DIDNT ALWAYS APPRECIATE HIM OR CARE FOR HIM AS A HUMAN BEING. SOME HAVE EVEN SORT TO DESTORY HIS NAME AND HIS LEGACY: WILL JUSTICE BE SERVED NOW? I HOPE SO, BECAUSE THE TEARS OF THOSE WHO GRIEVE AND CRY FOR MJ WILL BE ON THE HEADS OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR LIES. CAN'T EXPLAIN THIS SORROW REALLY..............
This outpouring of love is what Michael needed to hear throughout his life maybe it would have healed his heart , then again maybe not ..it's funny how we love people to DEATH(only when they're dead we say good things) then there are some haters who will be negative 24-7-365 they can't help themselves...well hope we all learned a lesson about love.MJ showed us that we were to love him despite how he looked and despite what lies people said about him. He is missed , but he is at peace, God be with his family, children and fans.
When I was a 10 yrs. old my dad cleaned the swimming pool next door to Michael's house in Encino. I would go with dad to help out just so I could try to peek over the fence to get a glimpse of Michael. No, I never saw anything but trees and the swimming pool in the yard. But knowing that I was close was worth it when I was 10 and worth more than I ever thought it would be to this broken hearted 40 yr. old. I am broken hearted for Michael's kids and his family and the giant extended family around the world that are all of his fans. Please remember that we are all human--all of us have frailties and failures including the people that become our heroes when we are young and become oh so human as we grow older. Michael ultimately was human, but always will be a beautiful soul.
No One has touched my heart the way Michael Jackson has! Back in 1994 he was in chicago and undercover out in public. I saw him in a meusum in chicago. It was in the wintertime and he was incognito by covering himself in a parka and ski mask. He was with one of his brothers and 3 children. I was with my family with several adults and children. He and I made eye contact at the very moment I recognized him. In that same split second, he knew that I had recognized him and i could see such fear in his beatiful eyes, but i didn't say anything loud instead I began to quietly tell members of our family that he was Michael Jackson. My family didn't bother him and let him be. We traveled together through the meusum and our family gave hime the privacy that he wanted, I hope we helped buffer himn from hysteria. At one point he stood next to my mom who was in her mid sixties at the time. My mom said to him "These Chicago winter are so cold, you have to bundle up for them" MJ covered in a parka and ski mask, even though we were indoors, responded in his sweet voice, "Yes these Chicago winters are very cold". I'll never foget that day. Michael Jackson will live on forever through his music and in our hearts!
Dispite what people think there will never anyone like Micheal Jackson,I hope they caught the guy. Yes he did different, but he showed to be a wonderful Dad and he has beauitful children and people are to write and say thinks that aren't true just for a buck. I hope his children know he will be there forever in there hearts. Always an angel watching over them. He wasn't strange he just try to give the media what they wanted. He is heaven and his music is forever but the children are his legacy. Everyone who thought it was funny by poking and picking fun out of Micheal Jackson life style. Go home look at your family give a hug, tell them you love and think really hard if people had ever said things that would not only affected you but your family. Give them a kiss and tell them you love them because Micheal Jackson will never hold his children again or play with them or kiss them goodnight. He did things his way. He was truly a beauitful smart an intellgent man loving careing. I pray his family It feel like the music will never be same because the king Pop and music that inspire so many is playing in heaven now with James Brown and Farrah Fawcett is listen and dancing. He was truly a wonderful man loving caring. The strange thing about it he would forgive you, because he was just a man that love his children and family and to sing and dance. He will missed but never forgot, Micheal Jackson thank you and rest in peace your truly an angel now your free to love and guide over you children. I wish it never happen, you and your family will always be in prayer. God Bless and thank you for the music and just being you will always youmg and THE KING OF ENTERTAINMENT AND POP BLESS YOU
Michael ackson will live in our hearts forever. Personally I think the pressure apply on him made feel as though he had to do some things like wearing the glove You couldn't just let him alone so he could do o what he loved dance, sing be the greatest entertainer in the world of music. He was truly one of gods gifts to us and and all you did was intimate him call him strange he was loving kind human being actually i think his heart was so big people just one to make buck off anything and everything he did you should of listen to the music and watched him dance he was a genius. I hope he is at rest.I KNOW HE IS HEAVEN! singing and dancing with James Brown and singing to Farrah Fawcett and Natasha Richardson. His children are beautiful there farther was a wonderful Dad a great role model and the children were his inspration. Mr. Michael Jackson..is now at peace with our God Father above us. May the love he fines there is more than he ever found here. You will be missed.
I love Michael Jackson and grew up supporting his career as so many others have. It still hurts so much to know that he is gone, but he will never be forgotten. I believe he really is the greatest entertainer who ever lived. He is greatly missed.

[ beware- michael jackson will kill those jeloues in their jealous mind ] "friend michael/ gracialii!" Vi-angelo et grace>michael*+
We love you dearly Michael Jackson and you will be missed. Que Dios te tenga en la gloria!
Michael once said "I want to live forever" - for sure he wil always live. I will never get used to the thought that he is gone. He's not gone. He is me. He will always stay with me. I love you, MICHAEL.
To The Jackson family, There ia a time for everything and a season for ever activity under heaven.( Ecclesiastes 3:1) We all loved Michael and he will be missed. But I believe God loves him more than we ever could unconditionally , he did not have to preform for God to love him or change for his approvel , he just loved him just because he was his child .He called him home to rest from all his labor as we all will one day. My prayer for the Jackson family is for you all to be ready .
I find it extremely interesting just how many people are so quick to judge a man they never even knew. Sure I understand the feeling that you did know him, generally speaking we all knew a part of him due to all that he brought to the world, however, do any of us have the right to say what kind of man he was? The answer is NO…no we don't. Whether you want to believe it or not, the man was a lyrical and musical genius and if you don’t believe it, the proof is in the pudding – Google the man, he’s had 9 times more hits than Jesus and that’s before his death, not mention all of his many musical achievements. If you didn't have the wonderful opportunity to grow up alongside Michael Jackson or the capacity to appreciate the genius which flooded from him, I feel sorry for you and yes you are deprived. Call him Weird, Call him Strange, the man was Eccentric, he walked to the beat of his own drummer, literally, and for all of the Sheep who follow the leader, and don't dare to stray from the path of "normalcy", again you are deprived. If you want to achieve greatness in this world, dare to be called weird or strange. It is those people (the weird strange ones), those wonders of idealism and individuality who change the world and those are the people who bring invention and progress to our world as a whole. As for the charges brought against him, come on now, the man is worth billions of dollars and you get these dumb schmucks who first befriend the man, even taking family photos with him, and then get the idea in their head, “ah duh, let’s set him up for something and duh take all his money” Do you know that boy now lives in a 2.5 million dollar apartment in NYC, pretty nice digs, nicer than most of us will ever see in our lifetime… that sounds like good motivation to me. We made him what he is today or was yesterday, we placed him on a pedestal so high, so much so the man couldn’t even leave his house, he had to bring everything to him and we wonder why he’s got issues, We’d all have issues!! The man is in the Guiness Book of World Records for donating the most money to charities for crying out loud. He’s the reason why your kid who had cancer is alive and well now! It was his money that created that new experimental drug or procedure. You should thank the man! If the singing, dancing, moonwalking to the beat shoes were on the other feet, would we be able to cope with his life, I think not, and should someone shine a light on our lives right now at this very moment, you would have no shady s*** going down, where your truth and innocence could be questioned, how would you deal with it? “If They Say - Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way If They Say - Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way I Like Livin' This Way I Like Lovin' This Way”
Please, I am not going to miss all the hoopla in the media. Michael Jackson was an entertainer that went way wrong. He was the king of nada. Poster boy for what not to do. His legacy will be that of plastic surgery and child molestation.
Micheal I ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN MY HEART. THE JOY THAT YOU BROUGHT TO THE WORLD I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH.FROM MY YOUTH DAYS UNTILL NOW I LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF YOUR MUSIC. I LOVE YOU, BUT JESUS LOVES YOU MORE.UNTILL WE MEET AGAIN AT JESUS FEET.
I am saddened at the worlds loss of Mr. Michael Jackson. It is made to see that the worlds famous have NO issues or problems but when it came to Michael all his problems are/were broadcast worldwide. I just pray that he is now at peace in heaven. I also pray that his children get through this unscarred cause the media is not being considerate of feelings of those children. God bless Michael, his children and his family. Lorie
I would love to have met such a warm hearted person. I wish I could have been one of millions to be directly touch by him. I know what the media has said but I truly cared about Michael, the man, the icon and the human being. Lorie Aurora, Colorado
its interesting some of the cruel things that have been said here about Michael, but it just goes to show how heartless Americans can be. This man impacted people all over the world...and to your dismay he will forever be celebrated around the world as the most legendary artist in history and there's not a damn thing any of your cold and insignificant opinions can do about that. Is there? lol, give me a freaking break.
Michael, you have illuminated the world with your music, your magic, your move, your voice, you were my sun. You thrilled the world with your music, you were dangerous but genereous, bad but nice, talentuous, magic but not invincible infortunately. You were my hero. But you’ll be forever in my heart, I’ll never forget you and I go on listening to your music. You’re now in peace, and you are watching us and I hope you are happy the fans still celebrate your music. We’ll perpetute your work all over the generations. The June 25, my heart break down but your soul is still here, I feel you everywhere and this dry my tears. I think about your children and your family, specially your mother, and I hope that they’ll deal with this. I feel better now but the pain is still there. Rest in peace, Michael, I love you.
RIP Michael, always.
I did love him as an artist and as a human being but always noticed this sad look in his eyes. I wonder if he was happy with all the money and fame he had, 'cause if he wasn't, then perhaps we all should be carefull with what we are doing with our lives and with the lives of our children. We need to teach them well, what they should look for in life, and what are the things that really matter and are worth to live for.
Never once did i believe all the molesting charges against Michael, as i`m sure many didn`t. I just wonder if Michael knew just how many people were trully on his side?? I hope he did anyway. R.I.P Michael Thank you for your talent (((hugs)))
I pray and hope that Mrs. Jackson and Michael’s children are well, and that they will continue to be strong. Out of common decency and respect for his mother, the dead should be left to rest in peace. It is apparent that Michael was an unhappy young man – his loneliness could be seen in his eyes and could be heard in the lyrics of his songs. I believe in “Will You Be There”, he kept repeating that he gets lonely sometimes. Also, it is very obvious that Michael was very dissatisfied with how he looked. He did not like the color of his skin, and regardless of what is written in the Bible that “the leopard cannot change its spot, and the Ethiopians cannot change the color of his skin, he tried anyway and failed. Yes he changed the color of his skin from beautiful bronze to colorless white. Of course he was in despair and couldn’t reverse what he did. His mother must have been heart broken that her beloved son hated himself that much. One thing to be sure of Michael had only one Creator to give an account to, and he has already done that the day he died. The Bible tells us that God knows all things and He is a forgiven God. He knows our weakness – He knows all about us and He accepts us regardless of ourselves. I believe that if Michael confessed his sins that God in His faithfulness has forgiven Michael and has welcomed him unto himself. Michael is no longer in pain. If the truth were to be told, the majority of people would confess that they are dissatisfied with something in their lives. Michael was not the only one that wanted to change his appearance. 1. White women want big lips and bit butts. 2. Black women want to look like Barbie (long black silky hair, 20 inches waist, etc. 3. Light skinned people want to be dark – they stay in the sun all day long hoping to get very dark. 4. Dark skilled people want to be light – bleaching cream, etc. 5. Poor wishes that they were rich 6. The rich wants to be richer 7. Black and White women wants big boobs 8. Michael’s sister LaToya is trying to out do him. 9. The circus goes on and on and on because people are ungrateful and dissatisfied with everything. 10. Over weighted people trying desperately to get thin – starving themselves, etc. 11. If the majority of people had idle money like Michael had, they might have done the same or worst. It all sums up to give the man a break - he had the guts to try while others in envy sit and wished they could have done the same things. RIP MJ
I regret that I never saw Michael in concert, but I certainly felt the sadness of his death probably b/c I've admired his talent and career from the beginning. He suffered the taunting of the media for a long time which misjudged him endlessly. But he continued to give great performances and was loved deservedly all over the world. Pray for those who abused his friendship and who relished in his pain. MJ is forever in my heart. I miss him lots. MJ RIP.
To the entire Jackson family, may you have some kind of peace now knowing that someone will be held accountable for what happened to your beloved Michael. I know your hearts are still aching, but God has his way of healing a broken heart. Rest assured that Michael is in a better place now; no one can ever hurt him again. I miss him so much - it is still hard for me to beleive that he is gone. As his song said "GONE TO SOON"
This is for the king of pop. The legent, the king, the greatest, kind, respected and well known in this planet.Michael jackson. Thouse who knew him, where close to him or at least had a chance to meet him in person where really lucky. But please Alah may rest to him peace. Alah will be with you brother.....
ever since michael passed away, his smile, music, and compassion have consumed my thoughts. it has been two months since his death and i still cry whenever i talk about him or watch his videos. i love this man so so much. he was truly a beautiful person (inside and out). words can't explain how special he is to me. and the fact that he was so considerate and generous really gives him an even greater status in my eyes. that is something i really admire. may this beautiful man rest in peace and "may Allah be with you Michael, always" <3
I actually cried when I heard the news of MJ's passing. I felt very wierd for a little bit. You know, alot of people took him for granted when he was here-we were truly lucky to have had him- he was a one of a kind and we will never see another Michael Jackson. I was born in the 70s and grew up in one of the best decades-the 80s. I feel like I've lost a part of my child hood when MJ died. The 80s and MTV,, what a great time. Neither would have been the same without Michael Jackson. I still remember the pandemonium surrounding "Thriller",, we sang his songs in music class, did a Thriller play, what a blast being a child. My sisters and me used to listen to the Thriller album over and over and over and were glued to MTV. Then "Bad" came out in high shool and that was another great album. When I was a kid, I really thought Michael had magical powers, and a part of me still believed he was immortal. I have been following his career on and off and,,, a talent of this caliber will not cross our paths again-what a shame. Not only was Michael a musical genius, he was also a magnetic entertainer and a humanitarian. It is very sad he could not overcome his demons. Regardless of the bad publicity and negative portrayal Michael got, I have remained fascinated by this man. I wish he would have accepted himself and gotten the proper help he needed. I also wish I would have gotten to see him live-that will never happen. I believe Michael's time was up, sadly. I think the 50 date tour was too much for him, his fears of failing, in addition to all of the ridiculous doctors that he was paying, all led to his demise. He was at the top of his game in the 80s and 90s and those are my favorite memories of Michael. No one did it better. Rest in Peace Michael and thanks for everything.
Up until now,I still cry remembering MJ has gone. What comforts me is reading blogs about him knowing there are so many mourining his loss, terribly missing him and thanking him for touching our lives. It never fails to make me smile watching funny videos of him on YOUTUBE showing how funloving, gentle, sweet and loving he is making me think how came that there were so many negative allegations to him that in fact he was such a sweet, generous and loving person. We love you MJ and I know that you know that as you had said on one your quotes "If you feel that you are being loved when you entered and left this world then all that happens in between can be dealt with." Thank you for sharing yourself, your talents, you music and for inspiring us. May you find God's peace that has been elusive to you when you were alive. Rest in peace. You will be forever in our hearts.
RIP MICHAEL LONG LIVE THE KING OF POP IN OUR MEMORIES AS YOU GO ON FROM YOUR SPOT A FAR AND ABOVE IN HEAVEN BLESS YOU CHILDREN AND MANY SISTERS AND BROTHERS AND YOUR PARENTS i LOVED YOUR PANTHER DANCE THE WAY YOU DIED WAS HARSH YOU WILL BE MISSED AND REMEMBERED FOR YEARS AND GENERATIONS TO COME ("IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE LOVED WHEN YOU ENTER AND LEAVE THISWORLD THEN EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN WILL BE DELT WITH")I HOPE YOU FELT LOVED RIP KING OF POP FOREVER
Michae!thank you and love you forvevr!I miss you very much!
Michael, may you find the peace you so deserve. You will forever live in my memory as the greatest entertainer of all times.Your memory will live on from generation to generation. We will miss you
Michael, you join the list of people that are known only by their first names... Elvis, Marilyn.. I just want to say to all the haters out there... Michael was acquitted of all charges brought against him. Think of what kind of person you would be if you were performing at such an early age. Michael surely saw things before he should have...this had to have had an effect on him for the rest of his life. He himself said, he never really had a childhood. When he was introduced to the world, we wanted more and more. One can say that the world pimped him from a very young age. Even so, after he continuously put out fabulous music, sold out concerts, made groundbreaking videos, contributed to several charities... the world turned against him. What he left behind, is a wonderful work of music that spans as far back as I can remember. For this I want to say Thank You Michael. Ive enjoyed all of your work and I want to express to your family, my deepest sympathies in their time of loss. Their will never be another Michael.
Michael's death is a great lost to millions of people; myself included. May God bless his soul and may Michale Jackson rest in peace forever.
There has never been anyone like Michael Jackson and there never will be anyone that will come close. He was beautiful from birth until his death :( He was so many things wrapped up in a beautiful package. He was a devoted Daddy, an outstanding humanitarian, a unbelieveable singer/dancer, a kind & sweet gentle soul. I will miss him until my very last breath on this earth and I will always seek JUSTICE FOR MICHAEL JACKSON. RIP Sweet Prince.
Ever since Michael died I can't help thinking about him. I thought he would out live his brothers. My best memory of him is the Thriller Era. He was one of my favorite artist of all times. I feel no one was there for him except his kids at times. I believe he had an troubled life at the end.
Michael will be forever the best person ever, He did so many good things in this world he just heal the world. Micheal diserve much better he diserve to live much longer he just goon to soon. For all the people who love him, we will never forget his name, legend, his music career and his beautyfull precious life. I did dream 6 times of Michael and in this dreams it was nice i saw him that he was realy happy and glad, this dreams was so beautyfull to me. You are always in us heart dear Michael. You are in heaven as a sweet angel we miss you so much. God bless you. You are not alone. May you rest your soul in peace dear.
Still to this day it is really hard to imagine a music world without Michael. He will be forever loved and missed by the people. He was taken far too soon. It is my hope that the good deeds he did for charity and for the general love for mankind will not go unnoticed. He has meant so much to me and I will miss him terribly. My prayers go out to his 3 wonderful children. They will see over time just how many people truly loved their dad. It is a shame that Michael never had the opportunity to perform the concerts in London, even just one. Now we are left with the legacy of Michael's music. He was a gift from God, and now he has been granted peace for all the hardship the press had him endure. Forever missing you Michael.
It will always be sad to think he passed away such a troubled soul. He could never get out of life what he gave to others--true enjoyment through his music and what I believe was humility. His smile showed a shy little boy that was well-hidden in his performances. Being a parent of 3 children, I will never understand the torment that his father obviously put his children (especially Michael) through. What a hateful man! I pray his children are not subjected to that behavior and they can live with the good memories of their father! RIP, Michael.
I miss Michael. I wish i wouldve known the truth about him sooner so i would feel this guilt that i have inside me. I have recently read UnMasked by Ian Halperman. It really sheads a light on Michael. If you read this book you will deff feel the sadness i do. This poor man, its terrible. :,(
Like any addict, MJ had a lil stash of something in his room. I'm sure he didn't tell the Dr what he ingested before the fatal dose of proponol was administered. Its my opinion that he knew 2 things, 1st his planned concert tour was going to hit the wall and slide down like a bad egg. 2nd he was 51 sometime in the next 5 or 6 years his face was going to fall apart because of what he had done to himself. I don't feel sad, just a sense of loss of his talent and the music. Also sorry for the children he wanted so badly then left.
Micheal Jackson was another loser!!! Another start down the drain from his massive ego!!!!.. A dope-head and child molester.... too bad.....but it's the truth... rest in peace Michael.... bda
Michael Jackson was an icon to most, both in black and white communities and what made his life such a mess was the fact that not only does he have to be a super star but a role model. He had heart and that's what matters,he was paranoid and that's okay(he's only human).Egos aside,he never cared more about money or material hence his spending free,he was just a little boy trapped in a grown man's body and from me?...Rest in peace Michael, you only did what you thought was right and nobody has the right to judge you, only God can and thanks for being bigger than Elvis Presley...what a schmuck!
I Love micheal jackson
A talented king who cared about suffering and the environment, your legacy will live forever. Michael Jackson the man, the music; I love you always.
Michael was an amazing person. I am so heartbroken over his death. My heart goes out to his family especially his mother and beautiful children! I would have loved to meet this wonderful man. He was a caring person who loved everyone and just wanted the things he never had the chance to enjoy as he was growing up. His songs tell about the special person he was. I will always treasure them. And love and miss him always. His legacy will live forever.
Amazing! 4decades, Simply Amazing!
In the 80' I fell in love with Michael Jackson. It was in 1984,I didn't understand a word of englih back then. But the music, the videos got to me.And what a smile he had.I left my home that year and had a lot of things happening to me.over the years my taste of music change, I was rebbelling. But the lyrics in a lots of his songs made me dream of better days as I learn english (I was then 17).Songs like Man in the mirror, doesn matter if your black or white.I never could bring myself to think that the allegation could be true, the first time, neither the second.but after the second I kind off drift away from him.I was scared that it might be true.I cant imagine what impact it could have for his childrens.I realize I dont know much about him now.It makes me sad.I hope his childrens are gona be well taking care off and that they'lle be able to kept great memorys.Where ever he his now, I hope he is at peace.
PS what a shook it was that on my 38th birthday, as I was thinking of reconnecting with old memorys, i heard of his death.
micheal u r great......
id love to dance with micheal jackson in rock with you my dream
Take away all of those negative comments about Michael Jackson as those greedy dishonest people told lies about him to gain his money and ruin his life when they couldn't get what they wanted from him. He is and was the greatest entertainer of all times. His songwriting, showmanship, dancing, singing and stagemanship will never be matched. He is truly the King. Jealousy gets you no where. Michael was born with talent.
First of all I need to clearify; Michael Jackson's sorrows were put onto him! Humanity has a very darkside and it has nothing to do with "making mistakes or not being perfect" It is called GREED and JEALOUSY--and when these two elements are emeshed it is extremely dangerous. Michael was about compassion, grace, kindness, giving, courage, stregth, and one the brightest creative geniuses of all time. He was the light while the greedy-backstabbers and media whores were the darkness. The more I research about this man, the more I admire him and love him. I was so shocked when he died and so sadden. It was if I lost my best friend. He gave us his ALL--his genius, his love..all over the world..his aura, his spirit reached out to millions..for 4 decades!! All he wanted to do was help HEAL THE WORLD..but like any other humanitarian wheather they were entertainers, politicians, or religious leaders; Martin Luther King Jr., and Ghandhi who dedicated their lives for freedom and peace, were shot down; Nelson Mendela, who was imprisoned for 20 years, Princess Diana-who loved the people and helped so many, died in a car chase-by greedy paparazzi, Socrates, who implemented a different way of thinking, who questioned the authorites of his generation, and influenced children to do the same, for his opening up the minds of the youth-was ridiculed and killed. And we thought Michael Jackson's was different?? No he is not-HE is just among the greats. There will always be only a handful of people who are willing to sacrifice their lives in showing us TRUTHS and KNOWLEDGE, for the betterment of humanity in what ever form it maybe-different- but the essence is the same..To me what MJ had to endure especially in the last 15 years of his life is proof of his courage and strength, in the dehumanizing culture of greed and jealousy..he was unbreakable! AND through it all he never stopped being the loving genius that he was..For those who chose to believe the lies..so be it..misery loves company..But for those who want to know the TRUTH..research..research..you will find it..I will miss one the greatest humanitarians of all time who happened to be a CREATIVE GENIUS..along with millions who looks with the heart and not with lies..RIP KING OF POP-KING OF HEARTS..LOVE LIVES FOREVER..THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MICHAEL JACKSON-..HE will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN..
First of all I need to clearify 2 things; Michael never wanted to be white!! He has stated blunetly he is proud to be a black-american-several times. He had vitiligo and lupus-which exerates the vitiligo! In fact, in the beginning he did everything he could to keep his skin black. By using make-up and even a medical prodedure that did not work on him because he his skin color was changing to fast..All of this is documanted and witnessed by his friends and family and his doctors. Furthermore, if you look at his pictures and interviews before the Thirller eara, the man loved to go swimming and showing off his chest, and he wore short sleeve shirtshirts-I would say he was proud of his skin color! Michael Jackson's sorrows were put onto him!Wheather by medical conditions he could not control and by humanities dark side. No one ca n beat my Idol. He is the only one. Since then, I used to Imitate his fashion statement like what he wear in this image. I love Michael Jackson.
Earth Song in 3D at the Grammys- sounds good to me! I'll be there for you Michael.I want you so badly ( to get mega recognition at the Grammys). It's my only wish. I miss you and I love you sooooooooooooooooooo much.
MICHAEL HAD TO BE ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED INDIVIDUALS ON THE EARTH. HE HELPED ALOT OF PEOPLE WITH HIS DONATIONS. THE SAD PART IS THAT HE COULDN'T HELP HIMSELF. THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR TORMENTED HIM. HIS MEMORIES, HIS SECRETS, THE SECRETS OF OTHERS...NO HELPED HIM. HE WAS BEING EATEN ALIVE WITH THE HURTS HE HAD ENDURED AT THE HANDS OF OTHERS AND THE GUILT OVER WHAT HE HAD ALLOWED HIMSELF TO DO TO OTHERS. EVEN WITH ALL OF HIS MONEY AND STATUS, I FELT SORRY FOR HIM. TRAPPED IN HIMSELF AND NOT KNOWING(OR ALLOWING)HIMSELF TO GET OUT TO CHANGE. I PRAY HEALING FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN HURT IN ANY WAY IN HIS LIFE. AND I PRAY GODS MERCY ON THE SOUL(S) THAT HURT THE LITTLE BOY THAT BECAME THE KING OF POP. I HOPE HE FOUND DELIVERANCE/PEACE BEFORE HE DIED. AND I PRAY THAT HIS SOUL WAS RIGHT BEFORE GOD SO THAT WAY HE DOESNT SUFFER FOR AN ETERNITY.
I'm am still in tears over his untimely death. Michael may have been many things, but he had a good heart. The issues with his image and how he felt about himself I can't begin to explain. He was beautiful inside and out and just didn't know it. I love and I miss you Michael. Your adoring fan
A legend is gone to which there is no replacement. what a talent! What a gift! Your voice will always be in our hearts, your dance in our minds. The good Lord sends them to bring taste to the world, joy to our hearts and hope to humanity. Michael was one like that, a rare talent and a great man who served his talent tirelessly to us all. We will always miss you.
yes Michael Jackson Was many things he was the greatest entertainer ever live, he had a great love for children and out mother earth. He unlike any other celebertiy actually took his time to help Africa and the cancer research funds. Now im sure alot of other celebertiy's did the same but Michael was caring the most. We,the press, the meida, we all dogged him and he still continued to give and give to us. I hope for all you people who ever said a cruel word about Michael is happy because not only did the world loose an icon but we lost an angel, to me Michael was proof that their is a god above because he was a beautiful human being, sure he had a wiered life and changed his apperance alot but so what who cares? he was still the "King of pop" and he will forever keep that title. I love you Michael may you rest in peace & continue to shine
What a wonderful man God send to the world. His message was all over the world.Let his soul rest in peace.
