I loved that cheeseburger skit! I wonder how long they had to "sweep" that restaurant before the President and Vice President could go in to eat? I love that our new Pres is so down-to-earth... I can't imagine that Kennedy or even Bush, Sr. doing this. I could be wrong!

I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.! I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom .

I am surprised that Biden was so willing to go into a confined public place with all that swine flu out there. Obama sees that the owner makes over 200K a year so he refuses to pay the bill saying, "you make enough already". He then notices that he took this company over when he became president and he is actually the owner, he quietly pays the bill.

Believe it or not, down here in Southern Mississippi, along the coastal area in Gulfport is the Memorial Hospital... their cafeteria has the best ever hamburgers/cheeseburgers! Yep, an actual hospital cafeteria! No, I haven't been drinking! And then we have Bud's Broiler in New Orleans... yummmmmy! Personally, I don't really care for hamburgers... until I ate that one at the hospital, when daughter was in there after her accident. BTW, she's hanging in there... hopefully it won't be long until she can get that robot-looking rod out of her leg and then into a cast. Still has the cast on her arm; most of the bruising has gone! That made her look just awful... and the "burn" from the seat belt has healed. Thank goodness. She'll still be with us for awhile, until she's able to stay at her and hubby's apartment alone, without worry of falling while hubby's at work.
