I watched bits and pieces. It was great. I love that Obama caught Roberts' flub with the oath. These two look very happy together.

Looking kind of G.Q. there.
I enjoyed it very much.
Very nice picture of Barack and Michelle. What I see in it is that they love each other very much.
Happy together. I like this shot. They seem fresh, welcome to the moment and quite happy together. The beginning of a great adventure.
Let's hope these smiles can transform into smile of the masses ...
I didn't catch much having to work, but it turned out to be a good day for all participants, and especially for the President and his First Lady! Yes, they do look very excited and happy here. I think the "flub", as Krista puts it, was sheer excitement on the President's part... he seemed so anxious to say his part, he got a bit carried away. I loved when he paused after he realized the mistake by the judge... it was great! One to remember! And what an exciting day for the history books, eh? The shoes have to go, though. }:0)
Happiness is a choice and the best way to pay for the moment is to be happy and enjoy yourself.....I watched bits and pieces in between tracking turkeys in the snow with the g-kids.....I taped it so my husband and I could watch it together later. Ram----I am nominating you to be head of the shoe advisory committee......
yesterday was SNOBAMA DAY! it snowed a good 5 inches where I live in NC and it was the perfect snow day to sit inside and watch the inaguration (and history)! i'll remember that day for the rest of my life. ps: how cute are mr. and mrs. president! :)
SouthernLady Well thank you, Mrs. Blackwell! Bayaga That's a no-brainer.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28753348/ Roberts was the one that 'got a little excited'.
nice legs
Christa Yes, and hers arent't too bad either. What a beautiful couple they make. Their love for each other is wonderful to see. It was a magical, marvelous day.
SL---I am glad that someone else thought those shoes had to go----that was why I asked Ram to take charge of the Shoe Advisory Committee
MikeCT...Good to see you back blogging. I would think that you are very proud at this moment. This is indeed an Historical moment in time. Proof that change can happen in the good Ol" United States.
If Ram gets a cabinet appointment, I want one too! I want to be director of the Department of Hope and Change. :-)
It was fantastic, amazing, motivating and inspiring. Thank GOD for giving us this opportunity to have a President that appear to really care about "all" American people.
OOO-OOO!!! I want to be the Minister of Silly Walks!!!
I loved watching this family. It seems we have a real peace of the average american family in the White House now. I hope he does well.
I loved watching them. What a grand day for us all.
They are so inlove. Beautiful couple.
Bliss!
MTfromLA They are trying to keep it hush-hush but I have been approached to serve as Secretary for Under the Table Transactions for Minor Asian Affairs!
I LOVE THIS PIC THIS IS TRUE LOVE . I CALL IT HANGING ON TO YOUR MAN.
RKumar - careful about mentioning minor Asians, you can get in trouble for that you know...Big Brother is everywhere.
yolanda- Good name for it but after finally watching all of it this weekend I call it freezing my but off, warm me up! :)
Thanks AP, and you're right, Historic moment indeed.
This is a happy couple inspiring good thinks to America and the world.
"Don't step on the cracks or you'll break your mother's back!!!" They're playing this as they go along!!! Can't you see their feet are in unison?... hahahahaha... ... sorry!
yolanda- I prefer to call it pulling the wool over 54% of the population's eyes.
Enough already! Let's get on to the problems facing our country. I couldn't care less about what Michelle Obama is wearing....How are we going to help people now?
Stryder In Nepal, we call him Big Uncle.
RKumar - I like Big Brother better...Big Uncle just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Looking at this couple it seems they are perfect. How i wish they can transform their smile to be the smile of the masses. hopefully they'll be truly the hope of the people.
