Gorgeous composition color and details. The photographer should win a contest and/or put this on ads for St.Louis tourism. Lovely!

TOTALLY AWESOME!! Kudos to the photographer.
This photo is absolutely beautiful. The shining light appears like a spiritual glow from heaven and the ice on the branches sparkle like tiny diamonds. Magnificent!
This is the picture anyone who loves taking pictures waits their entire life for!! Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
WHOA!!! That's... AMAZING!!! Definate kudos to the photograoher, thats a... beutifull pictute!!!
This picture is beautiful, i love how peacefull is looks, it is truly a piece of art.
This is just beautiful. I visit St. Louis often. Thanks for such a nice image of a place I love.
yea
Simply beautiful
Great picture.St,Louis Arch is a great place to go to on Vacation,Try it you'll like it.......
Fantastic picture of the trademark image of my hometown. I'm in law school in Akron right now and this picture makes me miss home. St. Louis is once again becoming the beautiful city that it once was, and it is a great place for people to visit. Pictures like these will show people that St. Louis has more to offer than baseball.
I agree...Simply beautiful
Absolutly beautiful. I used to live an hour and a half away from the arch and I never found it boring as many times as I had seen it. I just moved away from home and this makes me feel a lot closer in a time when I'm homesick. Kudos to the photographer.
wonderful. i've been there... but too see the Arch like this, is a treat. ;)
a wonderful expression of creation made by God and man. The shot captures the beauty of our world.
A photo like this helps remind all that photography still in it's most basic is form is capturing light.
what a beautiful site, its been many years since i've been back home to see the arch... kudos to the person that took this wonder picture...
Simply breath-taking photography! Wish I could have that picture as wallpaper! WOW....
Great photos. The blog deal is extremely annoying.
I disagree with Mr.Seida in one aspect only: The branches! N.Y.I.P has tought me to focus on the subject in mind and keep it simple, don't distract. The subject in this photo is the arch, right ?!
I went to St. Louis over the summer and rode the tram to the top. The top of the arch overlooking the city was breath-taking--but this picture is so much more so. I tried capturing the arch in my frame and found it impossible to do. Looking at this picture has convinced me that a photograph doesn't have to hold the entirety of the subject to capture the true beauty of the subject. I offer a standing ovation to the photographer!!
STUNNING
I was also in St. Louis this summer and I took several pictures of the arch, well tried to anyway. None of them came out the way I wanted them too. This photo is awesome. Great Job!
Absolutely breathe taking! So totally captivating! Serene, and so enchanting! Would love to be there!
Separately the objects in this image have been photographed millions of times, but when put in the right context all at once with excellent composition, a fantastic result. To bad the photographer's name is covered with the comment box.
I'm from St. Louis, and if you've never seen the Arch personally you are definitely missing out. The light in the picture is absolutely marvelous.
Its so beautiful It doesnt look real!
I love it bunches. So dreamy.
Wow!!!! Great contrast of nature and technology. It has a dreamy quality to it.
Beauty in the harshness od a winter storm. PS: it's a great view from the top!
I've photographed the Arch in the daytime, but when I saw it at night I didn't dare try it without MUCH better equipment than I had. The way the light plays on it is fabulous in real life, and this photographer did a bang-up job of capturing it!
Have never seen the Arch this way. Great picture!
Superb photo, makes it look as if it were truly the gateway to heaven.
It's almost inspiring!!
Awesome picture, would love to have as my wallpaper.
What a great shot. I wish I'd made that image
Stunning piece of photography! Bravo
VERY nice! How would one get a copy of this picture?
What men has built in contrast with nature... Nice picture, however, I prefer nature!
I live in St. Louis, so I see the arch all of the time...but never like this. Gorgeous!!
WOW . . . SERIOUSLY WOW
I have lived in and near St. Louis for 20 years and have seen many pictures of the Arch, but this is the most beautiful and original take I have ever seen. I hope this one gets made into a post card. Kudos to the photographer.
I find the branch quite distracting, it takes up too much space--what is the subject?. I want to see the whole arch not some branch that's been shot in a zillion other photos. No offense to trees-- I love'm.
Simply Amazing, I live in St. Louis and have always loved our arch. Seeing this picture made me appriciate our city's most beautiful monument even more.
That's such a great photograph. Absolutely beautiful!
I understand comments from a couple of people wanting to see the photo unimpeeded by the branch, but think about this...by seeing the branch (for me) I am drawn into the photo even more and it becomes more realistic to me. Just seeing the arch, to me, would seem to be looking at a beautiful photo of the arch under amazing lighting...BUT, with the branch in the photo, I feel like I can actually step into the picture and share that moment like I am there. It also gives a greater sense of depth and, as another commentor said, it gives a defining between the man made and God made. JUST AWESOME!!!
Far Freaking out!!! I don't like to sound crude, (thats not the word I first used) but that shot kinda leaves a person speachless
Like a scene from a movie this wonderfull photo has that flare that indeed says yes i am worth a thousand words.
Absolutely Beautiful...
I wish I could copy it and make it by wallpaper.
I was going to make a comment about a french fry gone bad... no, it is beautiful
Looks like the stairway to Heaven. Beautiful!
Good eye on the photogragher. Always liked pictures with freezing rain after effects.
this will make a great advertising pic for St. Louis Missouri's tourism industry
For 15 months, I spent the longest 10 years of my life in STL. That arch is creepy; it hums and vibrates, and the glowing lights... This is a demonic portal to another dimension and should be destroyed. It's creepy and evil.
Looks celestial, sorry LunchBox. I must admit, though, I've never been to StL.
this is a beautiful picture. could i get a copy of this pic?
this is an ABSOLUTELY fabulous photo. I LOVE IT!
This is just beautiful. The timing was pure perfection
If it were yellow I'd be thinking McDonalds.
Now we come to that rare occurrence where it all comes together. Absolutely MAGNIFICENT!
