Reminds me of an old (or young) couple of friends walking down the road together, enjoying the day.

I like how human the cranes in this picture look...almost as if they are on a Sunday afternoon stroll and discussing the church service they just attended.
Looks like two old friends walking a path together. The photo conveys a very human feel to the animal world.
This looks like it could be 2 people walking down the dirt road, having a little chat about the weather, what to have for dinner, etc. It gives these birds a very human quality.
I agree with the other comments. Peaceful and uses the "rule of thirds" to the max. The short depth of field keeps you focused on the central subjects.
They're just chitchatting away, enjoying the day.
I had to come back to comment on this photo. the attractiveness of it is the sharp color lines on the birds. The motion that is apparent is also appealing. However, that big blob of a tree in the background is excessively distracting. A step to the left might have provided a cleaner shot. I doubt that any photographer would depend on one shot when an opportunity like this comes along, so several sequential shots from that better perspective would improve the odds of capturing that "Bingo" image.
HEY! where the grass go? Not sure, but looks like those humans are tearing up the place again.
This one could inspire sooooo many captions on a couples, or friends theme. It really should be used in an ad, or commercial.
2 cranes shorten a road.
The birds look almost human. It makes me think of a couple of pals having a chat on their way to the bar. Casual and cool, but beautiful too.
Crane #1 "Who are we following?" Crane #2 "The chicken."
Oh, this is an awesome picture. Two buds takin' a stroll together.. It really does have a human feel to it. I once saw a fox and a couple deer hangin' out together in a forest, and the fox's head was cocked to the side toward the deer as if saying, "Let's go, there's a tea party waiting for us in the woods." Haha, it was great..
"Looks like there's a long road ahead of us, Bob."
He He he He, I got a good chuckle out of this. Its like one is saying to the other, have any idea where the next 7 Eleven is? Fun Picture
"I told you, Harold, to stop and ask directions!!"
It's the road of life, and they are two of the millions in life, looking head to see which path to take. And just like life it is beautiful and alot simpler then what all of us make it out to be.
"Damn bird paparazzi. You suppose if we ignore them , they will go away?"
Crane 1: Why are we crossing the road? Crane 2: To get to the punchline.
