Oh, yeah... let's give them some MORE money. I think not. The only thing they do with it is harbor terrorists.

Fundamental issue in the region is government corruption. Billions of dollars poured into the region from the US tax payers were all funneled into Musharaf and ISI and on to Taliban. Rescue fund sent today will never reach the refugees, but wind up in black market and in the hands of war profiteers. Refugees in camps then will be recruited by taliban. It is the plight of those poor people. Same in Afghanistan. Karzai funneled US money into war lords and those then end up building a nice villa in Dubai with a swimming pool, impossible dream in the desert land of Afghanistan. One thing for sure now is US no longer has money to waste on the currupt regimes in the region.

This is what capitalism and greed will do to the earth and everyone in it. Those of you who dont care about this situation with these people will suffer the same fate.

We must send the same amount of help to Pakistan that Pakistan sent to the US to help the flooding victims from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.
